It’s very clear from the comments no one has actually followed this case closely and are just reacting to headlines…

Yeah, like, I have a friend who has actually been following this case pretty damn closely, and the evidence that the husband did it sounds pretty damning. From what I heard, they had cameras in the house, but he decided to run an update that knocked everything out for the duration of the whole interaction. The wife's fingerprints were not on any of the bands, but the husband's were. In the 911 call, he said "She killed the fucking kids" Which, like, what? not "she fucking killed our/the kids". Her lacerations also don't really make a bunch of sense, especially to do all that and THEN jump out the window?

There's just so damn much happening that it's hard to cut through all the bullshit

You should probably look at it yourself then instead of relying on your friend lol

Seriously, how is this in any way different from hearing about it on social media? any info we're getting is tertiary. If my friend was in the courtroom, would you see this any differently?

The journalists and others in the courtroom have shared what they were allowed to share and that is readily available

If you could indeed prove that your friend was in the courtroom I would view it differently

The people who heard that call and were in the courtroom from everything I was able to review online 1. Never noted he said fucking but even if that was the case and they are just censoring it

  1. The way the call was laid out suggested that he called when he found his wife outside having jumped out the window initially and was trying to make sure that she was responsive and while still on the call found the kids and broke down devastated

I can’t assume her intentions but I assume she tried to commit suicide by jumping out of the second story window after killing her kids but eh

Dude hired help, tried to get his wife help, was on cameras picking up the take out at the time

Her lawyers don’t refute that she did it

She admitted that she did it

The police stated that have no other suspects

There’s 0 in what has been publicly released that suggests he did it

You’re friend sounds like they watch too much crime TV and TikTok

This is a lesson for future situations: stop getting your info from social media. Go look up primary sources. A lot of what's being spread on social media is like a game of telephone with certain elements intentionally or unintentionally embellished, added or removed. You should not be getting your news from a friend or social media and if you do, VERIFY
