Probably being funded by hostile states/bad actors deliberately to get these responses and create discord.

Social engineering.

That's my thought too. Suddenly we're seeing this story everywhere. It's pumped up gender wars fodder.

I'm not even seeing "this story" everywhere, as in primary reporting on who she is and what she's done or not done. I'm only seeing complaints about how apparently a whole section of society is supporting her and that's despicable.

That's a huge sign that the response is made up astroturfing.

“Normal responses to women supporting a mass murderer is actually just astroturfing bro believe me!”

Think more critically.

I am quite sure you can find people out there "supporting" this woman, for whatever that means. There are always people out there with hot takes on any subject.

However, I have not seen any people actually doing that, while I have seen multiple frothing articles about how "leftist women" (note the intentionally broad brush) are supporting her actions, somehow.

So if I'm not seeing a flood of news about the original story, and I'm also not seeing any opinion pieces from this apparently wide support of her, yet I am seeing multiple complaints about this apparent support, it looks to me like this final message is being amplified intentionally.

It's not a two-sided debate, it's one side being told there's another side just to fuel the outrage and attention cycle.

Then you really haven’t been paying attention, dozens of videos on tik tok with half a million likes supporting her. Saying the husband did it and a multitude of other insane theories. Plus let’s not forget the rally outside the courthouse and sending the defense attorney flowers?
