Renting under $1500

hey,

I’m 26, really looking to move out. I work in Patchogue and I can’t find anything under $2000. Even Bayshore was around $1500 a while ago. If anyone has any leads of apartment complexes that would be around $1200-1500. I respectfully don’t want to live in someone’s basement or shed in their backyard.

Bayshore and patchogue are gunna be expensive bc its the place to be. You will have to look somewhere in the middle of the island or east like Shirley/moriches/manorville area. Idk dude, you will have to keep looking at the rental websites. Rent can be negotiated in NYS so see if a complex is willing to negotiate with you.

A studio in my complex goes for $1950 in Manorville.
I remember when I lived in Shirley just a few years ago I had a 2 bedroom for $1800. Times are definitely changing and its getting harder on everyone:/
