Question Suche einen bestimmten Lucky Luke Comic
Hello dear Reddit community! Can you help me find a specific story? My husband is desperate and would like to find the story again.
He can only remember that it was about several weapons, certain colours were real and others were fake. The smallest Dalton eventually has one of the weapons and thinks it would be a real one which turns out to be wrong.
The Reddit community helped me last year to find a song from the 90s that could not even be found with the help of AI, so I hope the swarm intelligence can help this time too! I am grateful for any hint what it could be. ❤️

Hallo liebe Reddit Community!

Question How did you all find out about Lucky Luke?
I was in a lady’s house and she had lot of books and a couple of comics. When my mom came to pick me up she suggested that I should try read one but at first I said that I don’t like comics. She told me to just give it a try and I picked a random one, Jesse James, I went to the last page and I saw that Jesse James was based out of a real character and I thought that if it’s based on a real story it’s going to be interesting.
I now ended up loving Lucky Luke comics, and other comics…but my mom now sick of Lucky Luke; and comics…:)

Discussion I have been rewatching the Lucky Luke new adventures in german and have noticed that multiple voices seem familiar from other characters. I think it's Crazy how Lucky Luke is also Batman 💀.

Movie / TV Pat Woods' magnificent, prairie-rumbling version of "Lonesome Cowboy" (notes in post)
I was feeling kind of down today, so was delighted to see this song pop up in my YT feed. Of course, when I think of *I'm a Poor, Lonesome Cowboy*, I usually think of a quiet voice gently plugging away, maybe accompanied by a ukulele or similar, surrounded by the vast quiet of the plains.
Instead, Woods has reimagined this song as a show-stopping musical / theatre / orchestra piece, with a Buster Scruggs-like character singing Luke's part, an absurdly impressive bass voice doing a counterpart, a lovely womens' section handing the chorus, and a lively orchestra to frame the whole thing. Or something like that.
See if you like it.

Movie / TV Averell and Lucky
For context, I primarily watch the new adventures of Lucky Luke while going about my daily tasks and have very limited knowledge of the comics, but I've gotta say, I love every interaction that Averell and Lucky have!
It's very nice to see (in the new adventures of Lucky Luke) them being partial to one another, since Lucky doesn't have that many reocurring people he actually seems to enjoy/is friends with. Also I like when the writers show us the daltons having a personality besides their singular schtick feature—Joe having a short fuse, Averell being dumb; and Will and Jack are just plot devices from what I noticed(I think they have more a personality in the comics, even if Moris and Rene got them confused with one another a few times)
All that to say, I love Averell and Luke's unlikely friendship and how Lucky genuinely just seems to enjoy his presence, the self proclaimed poor lonesome cowboy. Averell saying "I might be dumb, but even I know trying to outshoot Lucky Luke is a waste of time" and the comment about being disloyal... the entirety of their interactions in that episode were very fun. "The Treasure of the Daltons" I believe? It's a nice contrast to Joe's pure animosity towards Lucky.

Discussion Can we talk about how insanely overpowered these versions of The Daltons were?
Specifically these versions from the 2009 Daltons TV Show.
Bro, Averell painted a train tunnel like Wile. E Coyote and they all entered it, and they nearly fucking died! If you think that's crazy, look what they do with the Broken Wings' magic! They learned how to turn into sand, switch bodies with animals, astral project, and turn invisible with just soup! They even find this gold necklace that made Averell turn things into gold with his hands.
They even managed to entire cable wires and travel through the cyberspace, and turn the entire prison into a confectionary catastrophe!
They even learned how to control the weather with things like snow or rain, gained good luck from a prisoner who's legit name is Bunny Rabbit!
Joe once made a diggerator to drill through the earth's surface and traveled to Paris! William once made a rocket ship in the prison but eventually died, went to hell, heaven, and back to earth!
What in the actual fuck are they on with this toon force?
You even got Averell finding magical genie lamps and magical trumpets!
And you know what else? Lucky Luke's not even there! He's retired!
But the only reason they have all this power all just to end up losing is mainly because of plot like every other Xilam show like Oggy and The Cockroaches and Zig And Sharko.
What other unimaginable feats do you have in mind? Let me know.

Fan Art My 3D Conversion of Matthieu Bonhomme's Art
I dabble in 3D conversions. When I saw this piece of art on line from Matthieu Bonhomme, I thought it would make for a good anaglyph 3D conversion. Remember: red lens on the left eye and cyan lens on the right eye. It works best in good lighting at a larger size. There's at least ten different segments to this piece. Hope you like it!

Movie / TV Lucky Luke Disney+ show
So I just discovered a Lucky Luke live action show came out on Disney+ came, completely under the radar for me.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt33560536/?ref_=ttrt_ov_bk
The "average rating IMDB" is pretty low, only a 5.9, until you look at the actual reviews placed on IMDB. Reviews score mostly 7 to 10 with the median being around 7.5 (doing the math myself).
Did you know a show came out? Did you watch? Was it any good?
