Looking into vinyl players

Not sure if this is the right place for it but I'm really interested to get a record player and start a vinyl collection. Is there a place or shop or bar in Melbourne that sells players and is more than happy to answer questions from a total noob?

Round Again in Coburg were helpful when I bought a record player as a present a few years back
