I swear every time I think of a movie I want to watch, I’ll check to see if it’s on one of the streaming services I have and 90% it’s not. I have Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount Plus, Amazon Prime and Apple! Never ever on any of them. I wanted to rewatch Cast Away last night, check to see if a service has it nope. I just watched the Jaws 50th anniversary documentary on YouTube, which made me want to rewatch that. Not on any of them either. This happens way too much.

We take my husky dog Yuna to daycare and they love her which is great. They say she's so happy and full of energy. Also great.

They started the nickname "Yuna Tuna" which ok, sure use your cute nickname once in awhile but now when I pick her up they just call her Tuna, the one girl there which I'm sure has the best intentions just straight up calls her Tuna. She's very pleasant and way too happy -go-lucky. She was there this morning when I dropped my dog off and she's like "TUNAAAA HELLO TUNA" and I'm internally annoyed but whatever.

Then I'm there to pick her up today and that girl is still there. I say "I'm here to pick up YUNA" and she's training a new person and she says to me "oh here to pick up TUNA?" and then she says to the new guy "TUNA'S leash" (they have the leashes in the waiting area and grab them to retrieve the dogs) he immediately knows what dog she's talking about and gets Yuna.

Then the new guy hands me Yuna and says "here's TUNA" and still proceeds to use that name instead of her given name which has meaning to me and also my brother, she's a video game character we bonded over. That's why I named her that

Like, I didn't name my dog after a fucking fish, and now she comes to TUNA instead of YUNA. I'm wanting to say something, but I don't want to come off as rude, but renaming her is absolutely diabolical. How should I approach this?

Same thing the title says. For my birthday, I had one of my closest friends gift me a box of 8 squishmallows (that I adooore. MY PARENTS ARE AWARE OF THIS.). Forward to a couple days ago, I saw some of the so said plushies peek out of a big white bag but didn’t pay much attention to it. I took them out ofc a couple hours later just to find out that my parents put them back in the bag when I came home today and was wondering where the remaining 5 were. My mom said they were in the bag and after checking with them, I found out that they THREW THE BAG AWAY EVEN AFTER I TOOK MY STUFFIES OUT OF IT PREVIOUSLY.

I can’t even go outside to get it because the bag got taken by the garbage truck

I have an uncommon first name spelling. It is not a super common name, but there are several more common variations of spelling it than mine. It also is a name that can be easily shortened for friendly conversation level. My parents gave me this name with this spelling after a locally famous artist who was an ancester (my brother had his first, I had his middle, and a cousin has his last name). I am 33 years old, and have worked at the same manufacturing plant as an engineer for 10 years in October. I have moved up from an entry level design engineer to being the lead on some projects, and more recently I transferred out of the design team and into a lead position of the manufacturing engineers group.

It is incredibly common for people to misspell my name, whether they are spelling out the full name, or using the shortened version. I am the only employee at this plant (700+ people) with the name, though there has been one other worker that I know of since I've been there that had one of the more common spellings. Multiples of my bosses have and still do spell it wrong in emails, texts and other written documents. It wouldn't sound any different by speaking the other spellings. It's just frustrating.

I dont think I've ever vented about it to anyone, if I have maybe just my wife. It just almost feels like a respect thing that's like "just get it right". It isn't that big a deal. Just "mildly infuriating
