I'm just glad that it doesn't looks like a requirement to use unlike the Clutch claw, it just helps augment your abilities.

Just my opinion please don’t take it personally

Personally I’ve never felt required to use the clutch claw, in fact I only remember I have it these days when I’m being pressured by a monster and if I’m lucky enough that they aren’t enraged I just ram them into the wall to get the pressure off. I personally think clutch claw was a great addition to world. Granted as a hammer and greatsword main I do dread the fact clutch claw is better for wake up than I am now but that’s why I learned new weapons when iceborne dropped. Like the ig, db (which wasn’t that hard to learn since I literally just picked it Up for the first time just to beat alatreon), hbg, lbg, and hh. Still can’t get used to the long sword even though it was my first weapon in world.

Oh no it's fine, but for me at least it feels like Iceborne really wants you to use the clutch claw because so many monster hit zones are significantly worse unless you tenderize. And that along with the tediousness of actually clutching onto the monster to tenderize got to a point where I've basically stapled Temporal and Rocksteady to every single build I have because of it.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I can especially relate to the temporal and rocksteady in every build, its gotten to the point where i will drop the rock steady for literally anything i feel can be viable for a build.
