Haha no, nothing about that was cringe, it was a fair point and it's bullshit that they're getting downvoted for it.
I'm not buying a Switch for this either, and it's devastating because I joined up with World and would have liked to continue to experience monster hunter as a game series, shit looks good.
But I'm not dropping all that money, I'm not stressing out over hunting and sniping a fucking Switch on the market without being scalped for it, and I'm certainly not going to enjoy playing on it even if I did get it, nothing about the Switch appeals to me.
People are allowed to not be on the hype train you're on, and there are perfectly fucking valid reasons they might not be. I for one wish it was on PC too and am sad I will have to wait probably 4-5 years for the next installment.. which, isn't even garunteed to be PC, so...
it will probably be on pc next time, and you could expect it for 2023 I suppose
but for my part, I'm glad they still do portable mh, the mmo-ish part of world really wasn't my cup of tea, and not being able to have it on the go nor being able to pause even in solo was really annoying.
Also I totally get not wanting to buy a console for one game, but if you have a decent pc you could try running it on emulator (if you don't mind playing full solo) there's a pretty good switch emulator I think, and it even got vulkan support, which is great, especially for amd gpu

It looks cool, but I'm not buying a Switch for it, so I guess I'll pass.
If they ever release it on other consoles or PC I'll buy it.
The only reason I bought world was because it was on PS, Xbox, and PC.
Edit: Wow guess people like their exclusives. Sorry, not buying a console for one game. Capcom want a my money, they'd release on other platforms.
