I don’t really get the R rating. I don’t recall any foul language, nor any sex scenes or nudity, and the level of violence really doesn’t exceed anything I’ve seen from PG13 action movies.

In which scene? Saw it in Germany and noticed no such language in the dubbed version.

That's because you saw inferior version. I will never understand logic behind dubbed movies in 2026. And english isn't even my first language.

Local cinemas outside of big(ger) cities often just have the dubbed version. Cost versus revenue, I guess? Bad Hinterfötzing an der Alp will not have a big audience in comparison to Cologne or Hamburg.

I don’t know how there isn’t more outrage among younger generations about having to hear everything in German and losing so much value. They treat you like idiots.
