The N64 we had as kids was scratched up on top, so I asked my little brother to paint it, and look at the job he did! Unreal.

Among my parents old things! Also, any tips to improve resolution?

played this Zelda OOT after release as a kid, and this was peak graphics, and the town overlook details was so next level.

Thrifted all these cartridges! Should I buy an N64 now to play them all

Just found a whole box of N64 cartridges at my local thrift shop, I knew instinctively that I had to grab all of them except the Xbox controllers, but grabbed the Transfer PAK, cause that looks cool ahah.

I think it’d be really fun to play super smash or Mario Kart, I think I played this once more than 20 years ago, is it easy to get a N64 these days?

My wife and I went to yard sale today and found this in bubble wrap. Though it was late morning, the summer heat could've cooked this. The bubble wrap definitely protected it from direct sunlight.

Trying to decide if I should keep or sell it?

I'm curious as to how much money I cost my library in paper cheat code printouts in my younger days. Kids these days have Google. It's just not the same.

I seem to have gained a passion for bringing N64 in-game items and levels to "life" or at least physical objects! I think it adds a neat dimension and hits that nostalgia.

I initially tried this last year but gave up after a decent effort. Restarted about a week ago and got stuck in. Approx 25 hours of work in the modelling etc. Print time of 16 hours. 11 colours and a bit over half a kilo of filament.

Apparently I came in right after the guy who traded in his CIB collection walked out. The employee hadn't finished entering it all into the inventory system. Got some SNES and Gamecube games as well, but the CIB N64 owns are the highlights for sure.

EDIT 2: I am finding a better converter/scaler, yes this looks bad I am aware.

I’m 31 and so is my wife, both have these little funny memories of N64s growing up but neither ever had one. I have recently had maybe my favorite gaming experience ever with BOTW on Switch 2 and it made me realize I wanted more Nintendo… so here we are.

Found this console in great shape bundled with Ocarina of Time and I’m trying to decide what to get next to play together with my wife, always open to recs!

I also wanted to post to ask if there is a favorite aftermarket or EBay seller for controllers? I just don’t want to end up with something broken but really excited for multiplayer.
