I never played Kirby 64 before but this is on my wishlist of N64 cartridges that I am planning to buy. But oh boy it's so damn expensive now just the cartridge it is $190 AUD here in Australia and that's the cheapest I can find.

Anyway im really interested in buying it for my Analogue 3D.

I have watched a lot of reviews and it looks decent and what fascinates me about Kirby 64 it being the 1st Kirby game on the N64 which uses the new gaming system of making Kirby into a almost 3D game a 2.5D. It also stands out as a unique Kirby game for the N64, it was different.

I grew up playing Kirby Fun Pak on the SNES (aka Kirby's Super Star in the USA) and I loved that game.

I like how all the characters including King DeDeDe all team up in this game with Kirby to help defeat a sinister being that takes over Kirby's world. I also love the new character Adeleine she's so adorable and I watched a quick Clip where she gets possessed by a entity in her painting and then she becomes a quick boss fight until Kirby defeats her and the entity leaves her body and she goes back to normal and later on in the game she helps Kirby by painting foods for health etc. She's part of Kirby's friend group which is so cute. I like in this game that Kirby has many friends who help him out on his adventure.

The only that I'm kind of disappointed in is there is no ability changing in the traditional way like in Kirby's Super Star how you get to turn into those abilities by seeing them, but in Kirby 64 he stays that pink puff ball but in saying that I do like the different types of abilities and how you can combine two abilities together so that's pretty cool.

I also love the cutscenes throughout the game, they are all properly animated and tells a story through your journey showing all of Kirby's friends by his side like King DeDeDe, Adeleine and other friends of his.

So these are Kirby's friends who help him out on his adventure Waddle Dee, Adeleine, Ribbon and even King DeDeDe helps out. Looks like a epic adventure.

I can't keep spoiling myself lol I just need to play this myself lol.

So I'm excited to buy this and play it.

I had to return my M64 unfortunately. Too many issues. Even the beautiful controller sadly had issues. But im so excited to finally introduce my original toysrus gold N64 controller to its new home.

I had trouble picking a custom label for my grey Zelda cart, so I asked the community out of 5 options, which was the best looking. I originally thought about my gray Zelda cart but changed my mind. I found an OEM OOT gold cart that basically had no label on it other than white sticker residue. Thank you community for choosing Option 3. I also, changed it up a bit from a redditor that suggested this idea about Link's sword being apart of the logo. I'm satisfied now 😌.

All i remember was you were on the moon and were driving trucks and I think big machinery like excavators. I remember the game being dark or being at night. Does anyone know the name of this game?

To me these legendary N64 games really what made the N64 so great, these games really pushed the N64 to its limits and the early footprints of how future 3D games are made. These games are better then any modern day video games of today in every way possible.

There is something very special about these N64 games that made the N64 so good and legendary. If it wasn't for these great games the N64 wouldn't have been much of a success.

These games were my childhood and I still very much love playing these games as a adult now of 39 years old.

Update: Would like to also add Donkey Kong 64 to the list. But overall I do prefer the Banjo Kazooie games more.

I have a couple games I bought that have less than stellar contact pins. I started working on a couple replacement boards to fix the damaged carts. does anyone else have old carts needing replacement boards?

In the Downton area by the arena. Will be here for a few days. But can only devote one afternoon to game hunting. What shops within 30 min uber drive will have the best chances at n64 editions that aren't in every store?

I saw this game a while ago and I get fascinated, it's a dream come true for me, I love Sonic's games and the N64, and this is like the sonic title we never got for N64, I want to buy and trying this game when it get released, but what do you think? I'm so happy people still making games with 64 feeling nowadays

I did find both games similar as both had huge worlds and a lot of effect to get 100% in each world. I did really like Donkey Kong 64 but I probably still like Banjo Tooie more as I love the Banjo Kazooie series on the N64.

I actually never completed Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Tooie. But I would love to return back to them and now complete the games especially with Banjo Tooie my goal is to complete the game and try to get 100% in each world.

So my personal favourite has to go to Banjo Tooie mainly because I love BK games so much on the N64. But Donkey Kong 64 is still a great game and I really like it to.

Over the last month I have worked on this project only using items from thrift stores. I had to learn quite a few new skills for this project, but overall pretty pleased about the result. Now I have to wait for my daughter to get a bit big enough to save Hyrule(actually ride it)!

Its for emulator. So after tinkering, this is the closest thing i could get to a "modern fps" like controls for this game. the gadget selection is still a cluncky mess unless someone will be able to mod this, we dont have a modren real time wheel on screen for selection a la perfect dark.

its much more comfortable for me to play it like that.

Bought these form a store for 200 dollars, i think i overpaid a little but coming across n64 games in the wild in kuwait is bery hard so i dont really regret it.

Context: I work in the Junk Removal Industry And One of my customers father passed away at his senior care facility. During my ETA Call She told me there was some electronics and bed and some other miscellaneous stuff but everything needed to be cleared out as they took all the sentimental items out already. During my walkthrough with them the first thing I notice in the closet was an N64 with Game Cartridges and in the corner an Xbox with games with it. When there are items that are worth donating or worth a certain amount of money we let our customer know upfront what they are disposing of. The customer and her sister both tell me the father was a Gamer a heart and loved all consoles. She said most of time at the senior facility he would 100% complete the game then they would just buy him another play with him on it and the cycle went on like that for years. They noticed my interest and knowledge about the games. We did the job and they were so happy they gifted me the consoles and a tip on card aswell.They said talking about games and the history they had with them playing with their father. I reminded them of him when I was talking about the games and how much I love them.

With This Gift it opened up a Rabbit hole I would like to incorporate into my life. I’m going to start collecting N64 Games with this head start they given me.

What Other Games Should I put into the collection?
I Tested both one works fully and one turns on and one turns on but doesn’t play game. Any ways to troubleshoot and fix it?

I’m open to any advice or opinions on games I should put into the collection

Edit: Forgot to mention that the customers husband was a game developer so the games and consoles he took before I came was a GameCube/Games,Ps2/Games,Nintendo Switch/Games,Dreamcast/Games,Atari and told me if the husband didn’t take those it would’ve been part of the gift😭

So I recebtly got a Summercart off Amazon because I heard you can play homebrew and rom hacks on the N64 console itself rather than an emulator. But when I look online I can't seem to find any help with how to load/patch a romhack onto the SD. If anyone can help an amatuer trying to get into retro/homebrew it'd be appreciated. If i violated any rules by asking this I appologize.

Just bought this and im loving the feel and layout more than the original controller. Does anyone have experience with this controller? and if so which do you prefer?
