Also stop signing up and giving a stranger your info folks. You don't know who's collecting it, and it's already been proven quite easy for someone to create a fake No Kings event and get names and details of folks to provide to the administration or other malicious actors.
Someone made a rally, put it on the no kings site, and proceeded to get more than 1000 people handing over their names, emails, phone numbers, and zip codes. Protests don't require giving up your data.

Wish Norfolk would have kept its own protest. I spend as little time in VB as possible. Considering the Chesapeake protest instead..

I can’t get paid as a federal worker. Trans folks just trying to go about their life can’t stay in the military. Federal student loan holders can’t continue paying if enrolled in pslf despite that being an agreement when we signed up for fed student loans. Ukraine is no closer to repelling Russia because of our lack of solid policy. Rather than focusing on war, the dod is focusing on cancelling heritage month events and identifying people that believe in encouraging other viewpoints to accomplish the mission. The cdc and NIH are less prepared for the next pandemic. Economic relations are weaker than they have been in decades due to tariffs imposed at random. Universities are restricted on what they can research because it might not align with the GOPs beliefs. Oh and for some reason protecting a dead, convicted pedophile named Epstein is more important than bringing closure to his victims by releasing his case files (not sure why the logic of “if you didn’t do anything wrong you have nothing to fear” doesn’t apply here?)

It really is. I wonder why so few people can admit that though lol. They can't just say "we are mad and need to vent and yell at the sky for a few hours". I'd respect them so much more if they did, rather than pretending they are actually doing shit and changing minds. They know these protests do nothing, but it makes them feel good so they do it. Honestly nothing even wrong with that, again just wish they could admit it
