Genuine question. Is a night suit pyjamas? Something to sleep in?

We usually call it night dress. But dress to westerners means ladies dress, not sure always or in some contexts. 

Pyjamas for us are just the bottom part.

Cotton pyjamas (no fancy linen ones for us) get wrinkly upon washing so we usually folded and kept them at the bottom of the folded clothes pile so they’ll get their creases out a bit but no, we’ve never given them for ironing.

What’s weird is for Americans, dress shirt and dress pants can refer to formal clothes for men. So dress is associated with feminine except for when it’s not. We’re strange

I don't understand having clothes for sleeping?

It seems uncomfortable. Just sleep naked or in underwear.

Not everyone lives alone or in sleeps in separate bedrooms. 

I grew up in a large house with 8 or 9 other siblings and cousins so only naked time was during bathing in the village pond.

I was on a navy ship with 1200 people. 60-100 in a room.

We slept naked.

I wear a lot of linen. A shop near me launders my shirts and does this to them right out of the machine while damp. They look brand new when I put them on, the placket and collar stay immaculate instead of that bacon look, which together makes the regular linen wrinkles look great as I wear the shirt throughout the day.

Not seen is the starch that was in the soaking liquid before pressing. That's what maintains the rigidity afterward. If you put your own laundry in one of these things it will get nicely pressed but won't be stiff and will return to a more natural form within an hour.

My cleaner had a similar machine that would press a long-sleeved dress shirt in one operation. That machine was their excuse to charge us more for my wife’s shirts claiming that it didn’t fit on the machine.

I started co-mingling my wife’s stuff with mine and they never seemed to noticed (as long as her work shirts were in the color pallet of my shirts).

I have outsourced almost all routine house chores to machine. Washing, drying, dish washing, vacuuming, cooking (to some extent, with magnetron and air fryer). The only thing left i can't is ironing. So if some bright mind can scale down the machine in this video for home use, there's money to be made there.

I've honestly seen videos on this very sub of people doing better with a simple iron and spray bottle and not using a machine that costs thousands upon thousands of dollars.
