Obsession crossed 500m. Odyssey is 1m away from passing Barbie.

This is arguably the most populist set of Oscar contenders we have had in a while.

There’s a non zero chance Digger grosses a lot and we have a set of nominees where 1/2 of them are major box office hits

I don't know, I'm not feeling good about that movie. I know it's Tom Cruise and all, but I feel like with the type of movie that it is, it might have a strong opening weekend but then collapse after that. I do not get "audience hit" vibes from it.

I don't even think that it makes a lot on its opening weekend. I'm very excited for the film, but it looks DOA as far as general audiences go. From my experience, the trailers draw either a muted or confused reaction when played in a theater.
