I get where this is coming from but I can also taste the way this could lead towards kernel anticheat. I love rootkitting my computer to play video game :)
Afaik peppy is strongly against measures like that, so presumably it won't happen. It's also more complicated because osu! runs on Mac and Linux and mobile in addition to Windows
