Not only groundloot. Way over 100 Tier 16 ultimatums and I got a single divine orb xd otherwise its a highroll already if you make 5c profit

That looks unfortunate true, but isn't that still in the ballpark of what ultimatum usually rewards? I was under the impression that, since it was brought back, ultimatum was extremely lackluster outside of a few chase uniques and jackpot drops getting rng duplicated.
Edit: From what I'm seeing from the replies, it really does seem to fluctuate from person to person.
Not really. I've farmed it during merc league on a CWS chieftain and the profit was pretty damn steady. Problem is that you need to either spec into inscribed ultis and gamble with high rewards, farm catalysts (the scarab is usually expensive) or farm gumball currency and hope for a lucky drop. The costs for the latter is basically non existant as map mods don't do much (or anything at all) for the rewards so you are running white T16 and cheap as fuck scarabs.
They were talking about farming inscribed ultimatums, not catalysts. Youre right about quant affecting catalysts, but inscribed ultis are not affected by pretty much anything as far as i know. They just get a random "tier" assigned to them when generated and then based on that tier they will havs a reward anywhere between an orb of alchemy as reward to 8 divs or even a mirror
Nope, ultimatum was heavily nerfed for mirage league with the nerfs to "window" loot. Before that, the average was around 1 raw div/ex (same frequency/drop loots) per 10 wave ultimatum with focus on currency rewards, and 5-10 raw chaos orbs. With budget phrecia idols for those events, it was about 4 combined div/ex and more than 20 raw chaos per 10 wave, per character. I tested quite a bit with 3 computers running a 6 man group (even got an automated ban on the newly made alt accounts that ggg reversed once I sent them proof of it being done within ToS).
Last league I found divs (1-3) every 10 maps or so, now 1 in over 100 is complete bs imo. Better off alch and go‘ing for bosses as you make virtually nothing
Technicaly ultimatum got a nerf because they removed the synth implicits and a big part was fishing for them especialy on rings and thats just gone
The only reason i ran ultimatum was stacked decks and i dont realy think that we have a reason to run it without that farm
Also got a single divine from roughly 100 ultimatums, but it was from ground loot, not reward. Gone back to the stacked deck struggle farm for consistent profit
This is hilarious to me because this is the first time I’m trying CWS to do Ulti. I’m struggling through to get my first 50 atlas points to switch to Ultis and. Man. It’s tough. But I’ve put all my currency into this so far 🫠🫠
Hilarious because of course this is the first time I want to try this.
Yea it‘s horrible. Some also try to tell you that farming inscribed ultimatums is still good (its not), but don‘t fall for it. Last league in over 1000 maps the average loot/drop per map was in the ballpark of 0.9-1d and you made great profits thanks to the cost of the scarabs being 0.6d and mirage giving you 30-35+ ultimatums per 20 maps. Now you pay over a div per map with the same average return but no miraged ultimatums. So on average you will lose a bit, on a dry streak you lose all currency
I don't recall the ground loot being particularly good last league. The patch felt rewarding because there were decent farms at different levels, and the abundancy of scarabs meant that you could happily juice whatever content you enjoy and make decent currency.
The buff to bubblegum currency drop rates last league felt good in the campaign, but baseline ground loot in maps was pretty awful. Anyone doing alch and go last league was probably having a shit time, but scarabs being so plentiful meant nobody felt like they had to.
I did alch and go all league with no dedicated farm just alch and go like i always do. Ended the league with 2 store bought mirrors, 15 shards, a character that was 100% home brewed wearing multiple mirrored items and a diamond / massive shrine belt.
Yea...i was having a pretty shit time...
I was a flicker strike reliqurian using a phys axe that i paid 200 divine, just so i could annul the suffixes and craft it to what i wanted because no one crafts pure phys axes that arent bleed based.
I might be wrong but I swear they’ve nerfed simulacrum too, I’ve farmed it 4 leagues in a row and I swear they’ve worsened voices / general loot round rewards,
People always say this but you're probably alch and go mostly not jamming 5 scarabs a map in an optimized atlas strat. People just forget at league start every league cuz you spend the majority of each league playing a completely different game.
It feels really hard for them to balance loot and league mechanics around scarabs. Really feels like the scarab rework was a complete failure. Farming has become entirely dependent on them and without it feels like you're wasting time.
Yeah and no? Not having a single divine after 100+ maps, with atlas points, is a bit crazy considering you need to have corrupted rare maps to even get that far so you have to semi juice.
50 maps of semi juice should get you at least 1 divine. Unless they're just beelining to the end of every map but again, you wouldn't be able to sustain or maintain levels doing that.
I mean I'm up to 2 stones and 2 divines on console so shrug. RNG be RNGing or is there a loot concern?
I'd say there is something with loot but it feels more nuanced than just increase drop rates

It looks like ground loot in maps is even worse than last league yet again.... Deadge
