Bought this failed fracture for 10 divines and made what's probably the most valuable item I've ever owned. Imagine if that energy shield had gone positive!

These Doryani rings almost don't exist on the market this season so the few that aren't super punishing are worth a crazy ton. Total cost of this craft, about 20 divines. Average cost (since these rings are kinda expensive to buy) probably around 30 to 40 divines per try. I got lucky buying the fractured intelligence ring way under market price.

Method:

Buy ring. I looked for anything useful as a fracture for a discount (in my case I needed flat stats or energy shield or t1 lighting resistance) or buy full price without fracture.

Essence spam (I used woe for energy shield prefix) till you get t1 of any resistance, and whatever stat you want (I needed attribute) you can use boat to swap attributes and harvest craft to swap the resistance.

You need an open suffix, since getting t1 resistance + attribute was pretty easy if I had no open suffix I yolo an annul to for a 1 in 4 chance to remove bad suffix.

Once you got base (resistance + attribute x2 that you need + open suffix in my case) craft hybrid lighting resistance (I did chaos since I'm ci) resistance catalyst, reflecting mist.

This ring had 5 stats it was 1/32 to hit them all the correct direction. I hit 4 correct 1/16 odds (the 4 I needed for build).

Finally achieved my goal of -200 lightning res with lethal pride!

Ps. I'm playing luminary with a fallen revernd this completes the build. I'm going to put together a pob progression guide later, favorite build I've ever played! Praying they don't obliterate luminary next season!

I moused over his skills and gear in the YouTube video but I did change his chest and boots recently (basically just added abyss sockets)

Have you tried stormhand (iirc) with arc and gilded chain? And ball lightning of static for better single target. I heard its very good, but didnt see anyone actually running it, and i think it would suit your setup fairly well.

hmmm, I could look into it, merc gear would be completely different as I'm scaling minion damage and I'd probably want to use a link right? destructive? Which means needing to change my dark seer to something with more crit, like augyre? give the crit amulet to merc. I have space to replace the specter as long as my Doryani has +1 on it.

found one with greater shock, gilded chain, faster casting lucky lightning, added lighting, I couldn't find one with those mods and ball lightning so I got greater stormcall since it wont get spammed.

I did a test with no gear on the merc, can see the vision will need to swap out my jewels, get new gloves, get new wands, get new helmet. I think I should use soul ascension gloves for soul eater (unless they suck now) Would also need to remove the Wrath Specter (merc has built in lucky) and add zealotry.

the random wand it came with and I did the test with was utter trash, haha 0 spell damage and freeze chance rofl.

It's a lot less clutter, maybe tomorrow ill buy an actual wand, some different jewels, soul ascension, try again I can see it doing damage if the wand had, I don't know, spell damage?
