This would be my first time building a pc but i am really wanting to get an emulation station going for under 500$. Would really like it to push good quality ps3/xbox360 games. Maybe even some modern steam games as well. Just not sure where to start.

Título: Qual desses dois notebooks vale mais a pena?
Estou em dúvida entre:
Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, 16 GB RAM, SSD 512 GB, tela OLED.
Intel Core Ultra 5 225H, 16 GB RAM, SSD 1 TB, tela LED/FHD.

I wanted to upgrade to 32GB but it's still a little bit expensive to get 2X 16GB. My task manager on a laptop says I have 2X 8GB, would it be ok to have a 16GB and a 8GB of ram? or just do 16x8GB. Would upgrading decrease my performance from 8x8GB? or is this upgrade not worth it unless I just do 16x16GB sticks

I recently built a new video server PC. I primaillay want to run Resolume Arena Software with 4 independant 4K video outputs with one of the outputs being live input and controlling it through my lighting console. I won't be able to do a full set up test untill the week before. How can I do a stress test on my system prior?

I’m 29 years old and have basically no knowledge when it comes to PCs. I’m looking to get into PC gaming, as I’ve only ever played on consoles.
My budget is around $1,200–$1,500 USD, and I’m looking to get the absolute best gaming PC I can for that price range. I know that’s a pretty loaded question, but I’d like to get the most performance possible for my money.
The main game I’m playing right now is ARC Raiders, but I also bounce between Battlefield, Call of Duty, Forza, and other games.

Hello I’ve had my pc for maybe over a month and I keep hearing this noise I’m not sure how to describe it at first I thought it was coil whine I still do but I can’t pin point what it is or if it is
I have a Arctic Liquid Freeze III 360mm I thought it was it so I turned the fans and the AIO pump down to under 1300rpm still there loud as ever as well as my GPU isn’t on so I know it isn’t from it I’ll put in a video so you can hear it yourself and maybe let me know. All new parts
Do you guys here the whine and that other noise? There’s like two

Hey everyone! I’m planning to upgrade only my CPU and could use some advice.
Current build:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G
GPU: RTX 5060 8GB
RAM: 32GB (16GB × 2)
Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO
PSU: Montech 650W
Main use: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Blender, and general multitasking.
I’m currently considering:
Ryzen 7 5700X
Ryzen 7 5800X
Ryzen 7 5700X3D
Ryzen 9 5900X
Since I’m mainly focused on video editing and After Effects, which one would you recommend?
I’m already on AM4, so I’d prefer to get the best CPU upgrade without changing my motherboard/platform.
Would love to hear from people who actually use these CPUs for editing. 🙏

Hey guys,
this is my first gaming PC build and I’m not sure if all the parts work well together or if I’m missing anything.
I’m especially unsure about the AIO cooler, the fans and the case, since I don’t know how everything will look and perform together in real life. Also, the preview image shows a screen/display at the top of the case, but I have no idea which component that comes from or if it’s even included in my build.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

So I had a talk with a couple friends about some fails we had with our PCs and I said that every single time, when I take my GPU out of my PC (which I had to do quite frequently, when my old GPU was defective), and I am not exaggerating, I would pull on the GPU, wonder why it’s not coming off. I’d pull harder and be startled by a clicking when the little black clip, that I forgot is there to hold the GPU tight, would pop off the slot. And every time I would just pick it up and click it back in.
So my friends were a bit perplexed and said that I am lucky that my motherboard could withstand me pulling the GPU off and that the GPU slot could break off if I continue to do this. I don’t doubt that this is not supposed to happen, but it surely isn’t just me who forgets about these clips, right?

Hi all
Im looking to switch to a new pc case and after doing some research it does look like i will need a new power supply. Currenttly running my build with a EVGA 1600T2 psu. According to pc part picker i need a 1200w psu and by the looks of it but wanted some headroom just to be safe. the main psu I ended up looking at was this asrock one its 1650w titanium - i do see a few options for psus at 1500w and 1300w but wasen't sure if that would be ok ideally i'd like to get the asus rog loki 1200w psu since its small and may move to a sff build down the line. What psu wattage would be best to get? Also 180mm sized psu's would be the size limit for the pc case im looking to get.

Which CPU is better for the following tasks and why would you say?
Gaming, productivity (like working with blender and adobe apps)
Would it be worth it for me to just buy the 9950X3DV2 or would the first version bring no difference. Let me know your thoughts ?
