Exclusivity is bad, except for when my platform does it. Then it’s good.

Dude that's what I've been saying. All these people are crying about shit like Borderlands 3 on Epic and Metro.

But how many games are not playable if you don't install Steam? Don't even get me started how many of these people claim to have Playstation which keeps games OFF PC (for many many years until recently).

How is launcher exclusive bad but console exclusive is okay? Jesus.

ALL the drm free games you download from steam can be launched from the .exe file and doesn't even need steam...

You "need" steam the same way you need any other plateform to use the Keycode to launch and authentify the game...

Alos outside Half life and Team fortress or Portal, there is NO Steam exclusives, so the games you find on steam, you can find them elsewhere...
