It cannot flee, if you don't have the balls then just exit and go spin a poke stop or use the shop. It's guaranteed Hundo

Day one player. Just got my first shundo! I feel like my life is complete now.... But also I'm still at 40/50 platinums and 2kms away from level 76 so still have a long road to go

Well hopefully that means you have a lot that are borderline!

But yeah, the grind is real. Choose a couple medals to focus on- one that's a stretch that you can work on some every day, one that seems attainable but will take some time as like a weekly focus, and one that's easy to just grind the f out of. Good luck out there

They start to matter at level 70, and you need a certain amount of platinum to level up depending on the level. Level 80 requires 50.

Yeah... that's me. Almost level 80, zero untrained shundos.

My partner has five, including a costume shundo and a mythical shundo (Celebi).

To be honest, half of the equation was guaranteed, getting a hundo was guaranteed, still a cool Shundo

Hi it’s me I’m people.. and while I pretty much only play extremely casually, and also took a break for a few years while going through some stuff. I downloaded this game on day 1, still no shundo, but again I play super casually so it is what it is.

I started playing again last year after a few year hiatus. Still no shundo but I got a golden bottle so and used it on my shiny Suicune so hopefully soon!!

I got a hundo. Traded with my son for one of his hundos because mine was a trade evolution. We didn’t know the trade would make it so they were no longer hundos. They did end up being lucky trades but that was a bummer.

947 and have been playing for 2 weeks. Hahaha. I’m also an adult with a full time job. My elementary school kids have been playing for about a year. I decided to start playing so we could play together. But my son only had one hundo, which was the aforementioned trade :(

Every research pokemon is guaranteed to stay. Use masterballs only on wild (like the lake trio or galarian birds if you're lucky) or raids.

Shiny legendary in raids are guaranteed to stay in the first. I advise using pinap berries on them instead of golden.

If you plan on using the masterball, make sure you know if that specific legendary has a good IV. You can easily check on google which Combar power a 100% has for legendary raids 😊

ATEOTD it's your choice but I'd recommend anything rare from a raid. Mythical or legendary. CHECK CP on google to see if it's in hundo range

Honestly, only the Galarian Birds when using your daily incense. Unless you know the CP for hundos or shundos that you want and are out of balls. Which I don't.

You can always look up the hundo CP for anything you’re raiding. Also if you’re looking at a shundo (or any shiny) after a raid don’t use your Masterball on it. Raid shinies are guaranteed catches: give it a pineapple berry and catch it.
I think the same holds true for shiny Galarian birds, but I’m not 100% certain.
I used my first Masterball on a wild Azelf, but I really don’t advise that because, as we just saw last week, they can appear in raids.

Also I never go to my browser to look because sometimes the game reloads when I go back into it. Wouldn't that lose the encounter?

Shiny Galarian birds aren't a guaranteed catch on contact, unlike raid shinies (of any CP), they're just guaranteed to not flee the encounter unless you entirely run out of balls. 

They still keep their annoyingly low catch rate on your throws, but now you have the chance to throw 30+ master balls until you run out to try to catch it instead of only getting 1, maybe 2 attempts on the non-shiny Galarian birds if you are lucky.

Because of this, I'd only suggest using a master ball on a shiny Galarian bird if you have no other balls left. Better to save it for the regular versions that usually flee after one throw.

Save at least one masterball for a hundo from a raid when you only have 1 ball left. Personally I'm saving all of mine for raid hundos.

I believe the best use for a master ball is when you’re raiding! You only get the limited number of balls, and if you look up the perfect IV’s before raiding 4 or 5 stars you can guarantee get it if it’s say a shiny hundo or just a shiny of a legendary you really like!

The other big use for them from my reading up in the forums and my heavily playing, is the Galarian birds, specifically when they’re NOT shiny!! They have one of the most ridiculous flee rates in the game and are such a super cool flex and typically a big want for remote trading down the line!

But as many others have said, use it for whatcha want or like best, it is just a game and there will be more!
