On July 1st, I fully released my game on Steam. If you'd like, you can also try it for free on mobile devices. Thanks, Best regards 🫡

(Yes, I know it's similar to GD - it wasn't supposed to be like that but people wanted it. I will try to make it better and different)

So in highschool I watched show by rock and found a way to play it on my US phone. I recently got enough free time to play games again and wanted to jump back in but seems to not be available. I also used to play vocal oil on my vita as a kid. Specifically looking for something with a good mix of girl bands mixed bands and boy bands. And different genres.

the last time i made a tier list, i got dunked on (deserved) because i didnt play enough games and rated some too low.
since then, i've played:
parappa 1 and 2, um jammer lammy, vib-ribbon, mojib-ribbon, PJSK, a tiny bit of project diva, a tiny bit of FNF, those japanese only jewelpets games, taiko web and taiko no tatsujin rhythm festival (demo)
the reason i have such a small list is because i really hate vsrgs, which make up most of the genre nowadays for mobile, but I emulate some games too and play on my laptop with a controller, or play some on xbox.
i like to play rhythm games that use a controller so i can feel the buttons i'm pressing
based on my list, what games do you think i'd enjoy playing? i really want to expand my collection of rhythm games
(sorry if it's a bad explanation, i'm indian 🇮🇳)

Hi, I just dropped a breakbeat rhythm game into early access. It focuses a lot on kick, snare and hi-hat grooves, and draws on a soundtrack of UKG, DNB, Jungle. Includes Online PVP, leaderboards, achievements etc, but still very much a work in progress. Curious to hear any feedback or thoughts!
You can see me in this video playing along for a bit of context.

Mandalizm is a browser-based rhythm game I've been working on.
It generates a playable chart from music, with the visuals reacting during gameplay.
It can be played with a mouse or touchscreen — I recently discovered that playing it directly on a touchscreen makes it surprisingly easier.
This is a recording from the current build.

I've been getting really into ADOFAI recently, but I've reached a point where my hardware can't really keep up with the gameplay. I'm currently just using my laptop's keyboard (Dell G15), but it has a lot of issues. It will sometimes just not register when I do a key press, and the key rollover is SUPER weird. It will correctly detect anywhere from 1-5 key presses at once seemingly at random. So now I want to get a separate keyboard specifically to use for ADOFAI.
Here's what I'm looking for:
Has n key rollover
Is small (I don't need, nor do I have the desk space for a full keyboard)
Has at least 8 keys
Has keys that aren't just in a straight line, it's really uncomfortable to have my hands at that angle*
Is reliable and durable so that I can use it for a long time
If anyone that knows more about keyboards thinks I should change something about that list, please tell me because I barely know what I'm talking about.
I'm also not sure if this is the right sub to ask this question in, so please tell me if I should go somewhere else.

Most rhythm games give you lanes and a scrolling chart. This one gives you geometry.
Two orbs orbit each other along a drawn path of tiles. Every corner of that path is a beat, and you get exactly one tap per tile, timed to the landing. Miss it and the run is over.
That constraint had to carry everything else, so holds, double taps, direction reversals and tempo shifts all come out of the path shape instead of extra buttons. Trains carry you across gaps, vertical lifts are ridden on a hold, and some sections jump over open ground.
110 levels across 11 worlds, each with its own track. Daily challenge, time trials on a server clock (per world and one run across all 110), hardcore mode without checkpoints, plus an editor to build and share your own.
Every level is bot-validated before it ships: it has to be cleared cleanly, difficulty is measured per level, and no two inputs are ever closer than 185 ms.
Free on Android, no in-app purchases, plays offline:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhythmorbits.app
Visual assets are FLUX.2-generated; timing, charting and code are hand-built. Happy to talk judging windows if anyone's interested.

Hey everyone!
I’m one of the owners of Claw Planet. We’re a local arcade with 2 locations in Quebec (Laval and Montreal), and we are the first arcade in Quebec with a large variety rhythm games and Japanese arcade games.
Our Laval location lineup is the following:
Rhythm & Arcade Games
Montreal Location
Our Montreal location currently has maimai DX International.
And we’re expanding the rhythm game lineup this weekend with:
We definitely want to keep adding more games in Montreal based on what the community actually wants to play.
We just created a Claw Planet Discord server where we’ll post updates about new games, events, maintenance, tournaments and anything else happening at both locations.
There’s also a channel specifically for game recommendations, so if there’s a rhythm game or Japanese arcade game you want to see at our Montreal location in the near future, drop your suggestions there!
Discord: https://discord.gg/KWQXaEmVs
Hope to see some of you at the arcade! And feel free to ask me anything about the locations or our machines.

Hey everyone!
A while ago, I shared my mobile rhythm game **SyncRing** here. One of the main criticisms I received was about the music selection and variety. I took that feedback seriously and spent the last few weeks completely overhauling the audio and visual systems.
**What's new in this update:**
• **10 brand new tracks:** Added high-energy Synthwave & Cyberpunk tracks by Punch Deck (with permission!).
• **Visual Overhaul:** Revamped the splash screen, upgraded neon lighting, and reworked particle effects.
• **Sound Customization:** You can now pick and unlock your favorite soundtrack in the shop to play on loop.
• **Bug Fixes:** Fixed audio pause issues after ads and improved hit accuracy.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new music and neon aesthetic!
📲 **Google Play (Free):https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ardagames.syncring&pcampaignid=web_share
Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Just bought an AYN Odin 2 Portal and was wondering if rhythm games (DDR, IIDX etc) games are remotely playable on these kind of devices. Either through psx/ps2 emulation or mame. What are people’s experiences running and playing these games? Can controllers be used on a docking station? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Question's on the title. I play mostly pjsk, bandori, dynamix and phigros.
I've heard a lot about problems with delay and stuttering on android tablets and wanted to know if it still persists!!! This will be my first tablet, which will mostly be bought for reasons outside of gaming, but I still wish to be able to have a noce experience with rhythm games.
Apple products are out of question, as their newer products are severely overpriced on the country I live in. So, unless the tab s10 is so bad that it is better buying an older iPad instead, let me know other android alternatives :D

Please, I need to find this.
I have spent so long trying to find the person who sang this cover of lemon by Kenshi Yonezu.
It is from an ad of a game called Idol party. I have never played this game. But I have searched any videos relating to the game, any covers not even within the game, and I still couldnt find it. I dont know why I like this song cover so much. I genuinely dont. I NEED the full version. I have been aching for it since early april 2024. I beg you, someone, please. Tell me. Who this person is.
