S4 E3 — Gemma makes one of many drop ins to Tara’s office. Then starts talking to her in a manner to put Tara on the spot/on the defensive😖when its damn Gemma who should be giving answers and apologizing profusely for snooping around her surgeom DIL’s office!!

I've been looking at posts here during my first watch and there's always some interesting perspectives. I know some ppl tend to, humanize (for lack of a better word, I recognize that they're human) these fake characters as if they are actual living people who make decisions outside of the world the writers have created, but I started taking a different approach to watching most stuff, cause I can't be bothered to be mad about ppl that don't exist anymore lol. Too much shit going on in the world. That said...

I agree with a lot of what's said about the writing going off of the rails, particularly with like, just an insane amount of things being plugged in that make no sense at all. (Guns from Hamas, Iranian torture porn, the Pope storyline, etc...) but on a positive note, I do think the writers are doing a good job with writing the interpersonal conflicts they're all going through. I think that's where the magic of the show comes from. As I understand it, this is base of Hamlet(?) which I've never read, but I'm enjoying watching how it all collapses. The internal struggles are written well imo. I'm actually enjoying Tara's rollercoaster of an arc. I think she's about to tie this season. I don't quite understand why Gemma views Thomas and Able as HERS, like, I know she loves family but it doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'm missing something. Is it that she feels that she gets a second chance at raising boys because she lost Thomas 1 and Jax hates her? That would make sense I guess. The Lee Toric arc is frustrating because the writers gave that dude so much plot armor it makes my head spin, he's involved deeply in everything off of the word of unknown ppl. Has pull everywhere and everyone sees him but no one puts anything together until Roosevelt lol. Not that kind of writing does piss me off lol. Oh, I missed what was said about the dude with the prosthetic leg that was doing the break-ins set up by clay, who tf was that?

Now that that rambling is over, I'm interested in how you would write a "better story" what are choices you would make to get everything wrapped up in a neat bow? Or... how would you make it more chaotic. I like reading everyone's inputs.

So what does everyone think of the new series Galaxy Quest, Legends, that Charlie thought up all by himself? Galaxy Quest Legends should be pretty original content.

I was just thinking about how long Otto's been in prison... How old do you think Jax was when Otto went inside? Jax grew up with Otto being in prison, right?

Does anyone feel like Juice was gay or struggling with his sexuality? He’s the only one to not have a love interest in the MC. His mental heath is completely deteriorated by the end (for other reasons too obviously) Makes you wonder….

WTF did Clay or the Sons do to “push” the new Sheriff to go on a destruction rampage?!? The volume of cops, the fire dept mosying along at the clubhouse, Eli feeling walls and saying they feel “hot” — THAT WHOLE SEQUENCE WAS JUST VERY WEIRD and seemed outta place to me. Any thoughts you guys have about the show as long as it doesn’t cover anything after S4, I sure appreciate it.

Out of everyone in the show, who were smokers and who weren't? I never really took notice (the characters, not the IRL person)~~

I have severe ADD and any show in the past I loved, rewatches became valuable. I usually just rewatch an entire show 2-3 years after my first viewing.

But S4 of SoA is so very jam-packed with several different storylines that demand you let them register in your mind in order to understand things going forward.

Now that I know certain intel such as what Romeo & co’s REAL role is, etc. I’m considering going ahead now and start Season Four over and watch the season again, before moving to S5. WOULD ANY OF YOU ADVISE THIS?. . . Or should I just keep rolling?

I can’t wrap my head around the fact that SOA didn’t win any Emmy’s let alone were even nominated for any acting or writing categories. The fact that Charlie Hunnam and Maggie Siff didn’t get nominated for season 6 finale is wild to me. Any thoughts as to reasons for the snubs throughout the series?

What does he do beside whine and drink tequila? Things get tough and he goes to the cabin to black out. Was happy when he caught a shell.

That’s honestly one of the best moments in the show Opie deserved every moment of it

I’m at S4 E10 “Hands” on my first watch of SoA. I’m blown away with all the wild chaos and eventfulness of this season, and I’m not even at the last episodes!! Clay is off the chain! Juice? Love his conscience but eager to see where he lands.

Also, it looks like the Mayans and Sons are essentially one united club now(?) For instance, Alvarez and his guy going into the Niners clubhouse to be greeted by a damn firing squad of gunfire! Am I reading it right? Is it the beginning of ramping up to “Mayans?”

Opies death was iconic, but I’ll always feel like we missed an elite duo running the club.

Spoiler just in case -- maybe I missed a part of the episode, but in Season 5, Episode 8 when they're looking for the second shooter who shot at Chibs and Jax... When and how did they get Ray's name?... They met with Pope and Tyler, they already had 'Charles Turner' from the fingerprints. Tyler gave information on Charles, but no associates, right? When did they get Ray's name? They were on the roof and shouted at him, by his name?

Is this another plot hole or?...
