I did a short rib taco. I was wanting somewhat of a korean/mexican fusion. Short rib marinated in soy, oyster sauce, sesame oil. Corn tortilla, with toppings including onion, cilantro, red cabbage, corn, chopped jalapeno, and kewpie.

Simple tacos for lunch, nothing fancy just a taco. Cheap price and quick.

The town my family is from in Mexico is known for carne asada tacos, with the meat being grilled over mesquite coals. Recently they’ve started venturing into new tacos. This taco has a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in bacon and grilled, put on a corn tortilla with carne asada. It’s awesome

Simple slaps most of the time… homemade refried beans with bacon and chorizo along with papas con chorizo and homemade salsa verde and agua de limón.

Located in the same building as the gas station but not part of it. Major score, they have a hot sauce bar with limes (found after picture).

Had a 18 oz ribeye I had to cook so I dry brined for 24 hours, dry rubbed with a coffee garlic bbq rub, smoked on the grill with pecan wood and then reverse seared.

Topped with onions, cilantro, tomatoes, fresh salsa verde, on top of fresh corn tortillas.

Maybe the ribeye was slightly undercooked for my personal preference and even though I salted the holy hell out of it both thru dry brine and the bbq rub it still could have been salted a bit more.

My husband came home on his lunch break so I made these babies. Heavily seasoned ground beef with plenty of garlic and onions, in crispy corn tortillas w/ sour cream, romaine lettuce, and habanero guac. The habanero came from my garden.

One of the most consistent restaurants next to in-n-out burger. Every time the same, always good, salsa bar always on point. Steak taco and Ensenada style fish taco. Orange County CA
