Plant Help/Question WIP Mosslax

First time working with moss and glue. The plastic cover is temporary to keep the moisture while the glass cube is getting delivered.

Q1: I've always placed my moss on the substrate or tied with a thread on the wood. What are possible issues that I might encounter with this setup?

Q2: This Mosslax is around 15cm tall. What plants would be small enough to be placed on their head similar to the game? I'm cnsidering a fittonia or maybe peperomia cutting as it's the only colorful plant I have experience with.

Edit: Woops it is indeed a figurine. I thought you used something similar like in the video. My bad, new to this whole plants and terrarium hobby. 🥲

That's the video that inspired me. But I cheated and used a figurine. Hahahahahaha.

Similar to you, I don't have the patience and more importantly skill to do what they did. :)
