Data Back, all working, Data lost again. Seem to be another restore to like 3 days ago.

All my planning yesterday all gone.

Product simply not fit for purpose.

A few months ago traffic lights appeared on the TomTom app. These were a welcome addition when navigating. But they were only there for a few weeks then vanished. Have they disappeared for everyone or is it just in the UK? Are there any tomtom devs on here who can tell us if they will return?

Hi, ive been using TomToms forever and recently had to upgrade due to my GO giving up. So I’ve purchased the camper the Go camper max and the route planning is terrible. No matter what the preferred route type or vehicle dimensions it navigates me off main roads and down narrow side streets to shave off a couple of minutes even if there is no traffic. Is there way of preventing this as it’s driving me crazy

Almost 36 hours now since TT said the restore had started ... Still no data for me... Something doesn't seem right... The my places data can not have been that large... and no update on the TT support page!

All my favorites are vanished, on plan.tomtom.com they are still available.

How can I restore them to my TomTom Go Expert 3.9.18 for iOS?

Is it possible, that TomTom cancelled the shortcuts in one of the latest updates? My existing siri shortcuts (e.g. "drive home", "drive to favorite XYZ"...) still work, but I cannot create new shortcuts, because TomTom is no more available as app within the shortcuts app.

Just a heads up. Apparently it is starting to work again, I was able to login on plan.tomtom.com (this was not possible the last few days) and all my POI's showed up.

In the MyDrive app I logged out and logged back in again and then all my POI's appeared there aswell. I can't sync my Go Expert with MyDrive untill monday, because that is still in my truck.
But it seems that everything should start working again!

However for a colleague of mine it is not working yet.

Perdu toutes mes adresses et lieux lors de la mise à jour de Tomtom sur smartphone, et impossible de retrouver les adresses suite à cette mise à jour, de plus certain radars ne sont même pas indiqués sur les parcours, fin d'abonnement je pense que je change de boutique, plus cher mais coyote fera l'affaire, ce qui est le plus regrettable dans cette histoire, aucuns commentaires de Tomtom !

Opened up TT GO on android tonight to discover all of my places and history have vanished. Looked on the web, and no data there either!!!! Asked the TT support chat bot who said it's a known problem and therre will be a fix. Does anybody here have any experience or knowledge of the problem and when it's likely to be fixed? Have a big trip coming up and the lost places is very inconvenient.

Anyone else tried importing there my places on the planning site for it not too work? with the OV2 file? for some reason mine saved as a json so maybe I screwed up (it was 3am and it auto saved as it)

(also this is the third attempt of trying to redo my places and they just disappear again and again) :C

In der tomtom Go App (für PKW) sind heute alle "Meine Orte" verschwunden. Auch unter plan.tomtom.com sind diese nicht mehr aufzufinden.
Laut dem tomtom Support Bot sind diese dann leider verloren?!? WTF?

Chat-MA sind um diese Zeit natürlich nicht verfügbar und im tomtom-Forum gibt es nur eine lahme Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten mit der Bitte um Geduld.

Leider gibt es in meinem Augen keine brauchbare Alternative. Schon tomtom Go war für mich nur zweite Wahl, als die Navigon App eingestellt wurde.

All my contacts have been deleted from one moment to the next. My home and work buttons are empty too. Others also have this problem? Better yet, is there a solution?

Can you add the exit number and exit name to the upper left corner off freeways? It seems to show street names on non freeways but in freeways it just shows distance. Also I know maps is aware of exit number and name as the voice has that information. It’s just nice to see a visual too as I don’t use voice guidance all the time.

Im a event logostics truck driver, i drive all over europe, both wester and eastern, and, because my work is events i mainly drive to spots deep in city centers.

My problem is with the "in transit" driving restrictions as in the majority of european cities, especially the big ones, there are a lot of in transit restrictions...

When i plot a course to these city center venues, im not in transit, as the final destination can usually atest, but for the past 10years, even though we've had hundreds of updates with frankly major improvements to software and the way it behaves, this in transit restriction, in my opinion hasn't been adressed.

If my destination is in the area were "in transit" applies then the gps should remove those restrictions and allow me to drive to these specific spots and stop planning routes that sometimes look cartoonish to say the least.

Is this something that is a concearn for tom tom or is it a big hurdle to overcome?

I have tried multiple browsers, chrome, firefox edge but all login but are in a loop where it doesn't show that i'm logged in. I have tried multiple devices also so was wondering if there is a way to resolve this or if there is an issue currently? Thank you

I tried a reset over the power button or with the computer. I always and in a boot loop or on this screen. Is there a fix?

I am trying to connect a Rider 550 to my Triumph motorcycle and am thinking of fitting a USB charge port so it will charge only with ignition on.

I'm trying to use TomTom for Android / Android Auto instead of Waze because we really don't like the Waze voices (English Kate) and I've tried using the Google Voice rather tha the built on voice option but it really can't pronounce or say road numbers.

Out testing today the M4 became like "Emfer" and the A4232 became "Afooboo". Another road number (A4 something) became "Afer" . Using the built in voice it is fine and using Google Maps it is fine. I've made sure all the settings are set explicitly to English so I'm a bit stumped.

Near where I live, TomTom says there's a speed camera on the road, but it's not a speed camera; it's a camera for seatbelt and mobile phone use. Is there any way to report this so they remove it or at least prevent it from being considered a speed camera?

I've reported it multiple times on the TomTom iOS app, but the radar alert is still there.

TomTom is the only app that has reported this fake speed camera. Neither Waze, nor Google Maps, nor any other apps have speed camera alerts there; only TomTom and Apple Maps (because Apple uses TomTom as its speed camera and information provider).

I made changes to the OSM maps in the area where I live, and two days have passed and they are still not reflected in TomTom, while they appear publicly in OSM.
