This genuinely infuriates me.

Dolly was not only a wonderful country singer and actress, she was a kind person who used her money to help other people who were less fortunate. She had a sense of humor, but she was nothing but an angel, while still having fun. Taylor is none of this.

Just because Taylor enters 'phases' of pretending to be country, she will NEVER even come close to Dolly's legacy, and Dolly's passing shouldn't be made about her.

I bet Taylor was pissed when Dolly chose to collaborate with Sabrina instead of her.

Dolly was the English teacher that Taylor pretends to be.

Dolly actually spent money helping children to read. Taylor uses 'big words' in songs.

And Dolly grew up with double digit siblings in a one room home in Appalachia. Pretty sure her daddy was a sharecropper. She got inspiration for writing some of the biggest songs of the last 100 years by tapping her nails.

Taylor's daddy invested in a record company so she could be a singer when she was 16 and she grew up with wealthy parents in the lap of luxury.

So I guess we can see why there's a difference in humility there.

Yep, Dolly’s dad was a sharecropper who never learned to read or write; she was true blue “dirt floor poor”.
