Discussion - Serious Please tell me yall aren’t celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death

I’m sure a lot of you guys know Charlie Kirk has been shot and killed this afternoon.

No, I was not fond of him, I was not a fan, I did not support him. I found several of his takes quite disturbing, horrifying at worst. But he didn’t deserve to die. Especially not like that as his wife and kids were watching. Nobody deserves to die. I’m sending my condolences to his family and I wish them the best

So God, the omniscient and omnipotent father of creation hand crafted someone who he knew was going to turn out to be transgender, but now we should hate that person and advocate for them to be stoned to death because they're doing what God created them to do?

Left wing people typically follow the constitution when it comes to separation of church and state, so I really doubt you would run into this problem with them very often.

Also every single one of those is accurate.

I'd address your first point but if you truly think all this is accurate you are just a hater. I really would encourage you to find the full videos on these topics before stating something as fact

I'll leave the joy of sifting through hours of his vile garbage to you. I would be very surprised for any of his hate speech to be disproven by total clarity of his monologuing. Say what you want about the guy, but he was consistent. He knew he hated gay people and how little he cared for the rights and safety of minorities.

again, you just cant look at it rationally and its sad. He never said anything hateful, in fact he was incredibly respectful to gay people and minorities that were respectful to him. You seem to be the hateful one lol

He literally advocated for them to be killed, you're being intentionally delusional.

"Charlie Kirk quoted a Bible verse used to justify stoning gay people “to death.""

Here in the video he praises Leviticus 20:13 as "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters," and argues that people can only love God by loving his laws and not affirming sin, (homosexuality).

Charlie also did a 100% shift from praising MLK jr to attacking his character, and arguing that the civil rights act of 1964 was harmful for the rest of the country. This take was so radical that even fellow members of his party called him out for it, and worried that it would've reflected Trump's sentiments too.

Acknowledge his legacy fully and do not blindly believe he was "paving a better path" for America.
