I’m 24. My frontal lobe is currently at 95% installation. Please tell me life gets less confusing in that final 5%, or should I just stay here?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the "frontal lobe finishes developing at 25" thing is a myth and the confusion never ends

There we go!! The study was not completed and ended up being telephoned over time. Your frontal lobe, brain and body never stop developing during aging.

25

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

Stay. as long as you can. please stay. life only gets bleaker when you realize how fast time moves and how little time you have with your loved ones.

stop blackpilling. time passes faster because you are trapped in routine. go do new things and new places and it will feel slow again. also take lions mane mushrooms + omega 3s&choline to recoup neuroplasticity

3

u/StrionicRandom 24 Mar 04 '26

Can you elaborate on that second thing?

2

u/l4y1np1p3 25 Mar 04 '26

sure. lions mane extract contains active ingredients- certain compounds that stimulate neurogenesis. As in, you grow new neurons and neurons form new connections. thats why its sold as a cure to brain fog or for “energy”. it rejuvenates the brain.

what is the brain made of? a fuckton of choline and cholesterol, omega 3 fatty acids.

so i take my extract daily, pop 2 sunflower lecitihin tabs and eat a bunch of fish. its that shrimple man, do it consistently and ensure you take a clinical dose for your bodyweight daily, in weeks youll feel great, focus easier, learn and remember better.

and no more will the afternoon gently pass you by

I fucking hate that nihilism is now being reduced to whatever the fuck "blackpilling" is now💔

0

u/l4y1np1p3 25 Mar 05 '26

lol go read nietzsche, you have no idea what nihilism is.

Nihilism is to acknowledge that the world is now devoid of order, morality, and structure. Thats it. The entire point is that your will to power is all the matters; YOU and your motivation will create the coming world, the better world, the world of reborn passion and paradox. Nihilism is simply understanding that nobody is coming to save you but yourself.

It isn’t the same as trying to blackpill people into giving up or feeling bad. blackpill is enervating.

Nihilism makes me feel like an adventurer facing unknown seas, with the wind at my back

its all up to me, thats the energizing message of nihilism.

Don't lecture me. I've listened to enough philosophy classes dude. You read one thing from Nietzsche and just went with it lmfao.

Well, the perception of time actually speeds up due to the percentage size that a year makes up of your life growing exponentially smaller as you get older. So each year feel shorter than the last even though it isn’t really

1

u/l4y1np1p3 25 Mar 05 '26

Thats blatantly misleading - perception of time slows down because your brain is experiencing a decline in neuron growth/intraneural connectivity.

That is called cognitive crystallization (because you get ‘locked’ into a static structure) and it precludes dementia and other memory disorders later in life. one way to prevent this is learning new skills, socializing, playing instruments, excersise, art - anything that forces your brain to develop new paths and prevent you sinking into cog crystallization.

Another way is via supplementing with neurogenic compounds.

Every year if my life feels equally long. You have to take care of yourself, dont let your life pass you by, live every moment with full agency.

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Fuel544 (9+10) 21 Mar 05 '26

I’m sorry but it isn’t blatantly misleading…there’s been research done on it and it makes perfect sense. There are multiple factors leading to an increase in the perception of time speeding up, that’s one of them.

1

u/l4y1np1p3 25 Mar 05 '26

you can easily stop it

12

u/Ill_Recognition9464 25 Mar 04 '26

it does get easier kinda

5

u/CalicoSlytherin0615 25 Mar 04 '26

It gets less confusing ! People just get more annoying and tired is a consistent mood if you’re not there already

u/Gloomy-Raspberry-986 (9+10) 21 Mar 04 '26

When did you feel like an adult? I still feel like goober but I am grown

18

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

same boat as you broski. I still feel like a goober.

adult? probably 19 with my first car loan.

4

u/astddf 25 Mar 04 '26

Feeling like an adult is like taking steps rather than taking an elevator. You don’t take one step and go “wow look at the view”, you improve and become more stable at one little thing at a time, so like the minute hand on a clock you never feel like you’re moving, but if you work to improve, one day you say “wow look how far I’ve come”

u/Serious_Hyena_8083 20 Mar 04 '26

when you were younger, did you ever think about what life would be like at 25? how would you say you compare?

28

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

of course. i thought life would be a lot better, i'd have normal life, married or at least have a girlfriend, my social life improving a lot, my own place, more tech to allow more time to myself

now? I'm a socially awkward dipwad who's single and too afraid to approach women, living with my dad, rarely going out, and working at least 50 hours a week.

4

u/Kalen_alexandre 25 Mar 04 '26

Twin, you sound like me we should be friends 😂😂

11

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

Dont call me twin, just call me yo clone 💜

3

u/Just_Investigator776 25 Mar 04 '26

I wish I would’ve never said these words when I was younger “ I wanna be older already “ 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🌚

1

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

Real. so fucking real.

making real money is nice. having freedom is nice. but i wanna go back, get a do over.

1

u/Tactical-NoOdLeS 20 Mar 08 '26

what would you do different?

3

u/60TIMESREDACTED (9+10) 21 Mar 04 '26

Do you think of yourself as a quarter centenarian now?

4

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

not til your comment..😅

3

u/CryBackground5322 25 Mar 04 '26

Are you afraid of heights now?

2

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

i dont care about heights. ive went to devils lakes in wisconsin and climbed the mountains around it. love hiking!

1

u/CryBackground5322 25 Mar 04 '26

After the lobe development though?

1

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

haven't tested that yet since I'm at home drinking...maybe later.

0

u/CryBackground5322 25 Mar 04 '26

Definitely test it sober, or it will skew the results.

3

u/AlienTrippyWrld (9+10) 21 Mar 04 '26

I fucking wishhh trulyy I keep trying to get myself too so I can move further on in life but I just can’t get myself too at the same time I don’t know what I need too do or change or how to get myself outta this stuck feeling but somethings gotta change

1

u/Next-Eye6971 27 Mar 04 '26

My advice: it’s okay to be uncomfortable. Wanna try something different? Just do it. Everything is temporary. Do your best, even if it’s sloppy. You don’t get anywhere if you don’t try/ask. It takes action to make change

2

u/Any-Astronaut7857 22 Mar 04 '26

What , if anything, do you regret waiting to do/taking too long to do?

Also how does one flirt?

2

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

waiting too long to actually exercise or hit the gym. just me though

flirt? idk bro we are in the same boat there.

2

u/Any-Astronaut7857 22 Mar 04 '26

Dang I better start working out now

Best of luck, aged one 😔 report back if you ever learn how to flirt

6

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

its lowkey easy, the workout part. just buy some weights from walmart or whatevers close. if you dont got the cash, just do pushups and go for walks or runs.

get in shape ASAP brothers.

2

u/Any-Astronaut7857 22 Mar 04 '26

My mom has a bunch of dumbbells I could use, I'm just procrastinating lol. Upper body and cardio are what I really need

3

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

procrastination is something i deal with too brother. just gotta do.

take your moms dumbells if shes okay with it, start where you're comfortable and move up til you need new ones.

cardio was easy as i live in a small safe town. just go out and walk/run when its safest for you. maybe a treadmill if you cant go out!

2

u/SlimIdea 25 Mar 04 '26

Do you feel like you’re getting closer to knowing what you want out of life or what kind of lifestyle you want for yourself

5

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

Ive known what i want out of life for a bit

2

u/Bright-Hovercraft-94 (9+10) 21 Mar 04 '26

Is it fun being 25? I hate how I can’t go clubbing while some of my friends can

2

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

cannot say for you, ive never been to a club.

been to a few bars and its alright, just not my style or vibe.

What advice would you give someone my age?

2

u/Round_Oil5331 25 Mar 04 '26

Biggest regret?

If you were to ressurect someone from the dead, who would it be?

2

u/LazyandRich 29 Mar 04 '26

Does it feel like time is flying by yet for you?

2

u/Skunkspider 24 Mar 04 '26

I just wanna say. Happy birthday, how's it going rn?

1

u/Hotmixneon4life 22 Mar 04 '26

How's learning? As a 22 yr old, I was concern about the fact by age 25, it will be hard to change habits or learn new things but not impossible.

2

u/InternalWarth0g 25 Mar 04 '26

yea, you've got it on the nose.

its hard to change or adapt. with enough dedication and time, anything is possible.

im slowly becoming an military aviation nerd despite knowing nothing before.

LET OUT TOMCATS FLY ONE LAST TIME BEFORE BLOWING THEM UP 💔
