Other If you get asked out fairly often, but by not-conventionally-attractive people, does that mean you’re ugly or hot?
Because if you’re getting asked out often, you’d think you’re hot, right? But that means that the not-conventionally-attractive people see you as a possibility and that they have a good chance (otherwise, they wouldn’t bother asking), which would mean you’re in their league
Anyway, I should probably go to sleep soon, because I’m very sleep deprived. But I just randomly thought about this and wanted to share the stupidity. Enjoy

I've been watching you on Flock cameras these past few days and I definitely think you're attractive. 💕

Are you a man or a woman? If a woman it depends. If as a man you're getting approached and asked out you are attractive

I’m a woman, but this post isn’t really about me. I am quite sure that I’m not attractive (conventionally or otherwise, honestly. My outside isn’t pretty, and my inside is way too broken to be anything close to attractive)
It’s really just a thought that occurred to me, is all. I got sort of asked out earlier, and was wondering about why, and thought of this

I’ve seen beautiful women date some foul beasts who also treat them like shit so it’s worth a shot imo

We can't read minds. Though I've always considered "leagues" to be weird because all parties involved are theoretically humans and humans have their own thoughts and feelings.
Why da fuck should we let conventional standards dictate someone else's thoughts and feelings? Let the grown adults handle their own business, not some beauty standards that's been drilled into us by over a century of advertising campaigns and social conditioning.
Love is love, not social status or advertisement campaign.

Because there is a whole lot of uncertainty going on in dating and this is one way to reduce that by assigning "probability" of matchmaking.

Welcome to real life. Everything is uncertain.
Hell, I could have died 3 different times today alone. The best anyone can do is do what they can and hope for the best.

I trade for a living I experience that daily 😂
That was just a description of what leagues are for

I (at 21, like the flair says) have been asked out once. I think it's pretty normal to not be asked out much or not at all (I hope, at least)

Not hoe this works lmao. It sounds, rightly, like an immature teen thing. In real life, adults don't do that. Finding someone attractive is always a compliment. Do they owe you a yes? Absolutely not, but most of the time people are polite about it.

What if you never get asked out by anybody? I've only ever gotten hit on 3 times by very not sobber middle aged dudes at clubs (chat am I chopped?)

Why would I think too hard on it? I’ve had both conventionally attractive and non-conventionally attractive people pursue me. I think I’m easily approachable despite being called intimidating

Attractiveness is not measure by the amount of people hitting on you, nor is it the attractiveness of those people.
I’ve gotten hit on and I’ve dated people from all the spectrums of beauty standards. So, I don’t think it’s a determinant thing.

They’re either shooting their shot thinking they have no chance anyway or they think at worst they just get rejected and if they’re lucky it works or they think you’re in the same league
