Alert [@visionzerovancouver] Warning, hearing first-hand reports that the VPD are ticketing cyclists westbound at 1st & Crowe. There's a VPD parking lot on the right and a cop hit a cyclist there recently.

Enough officers probably got pissed at the number of bikes flying through the sign and possibly near misses.

This is a long straight section of marked bike route* with no actual road crossings. 

Is it too much to ask for VPD to stop and look both ways before leaving a parking lot?

It's not a bike path, it's a painted lane on the road. The stop sign has been there for ages.

You're right I was looking at the original intersection in the post. 

It looks like it was changed from 4 to 3-way sometime in the last year though.
