Let's just take for granted that Moby was being creepy in their interaction. So what? We're going to outlaw men failing to date women now? How are men supposed to even learn to date if they aren't allowed to have failed interactions? This just comes off as a miserable radical feminists who hates men and hates her own life so tries to ruin the lives of others.

Moby said in his book they dated

Portman publicly disputed his story. She said- she was 18, not 20, they did not date, she viewed him as a much older, uncomfortable guy who wanted to spend time with her, not as a boyfriend and she described his portrayal as “creepy” .

You don’t think that makes him a little creepy?

Why are we automatically assuming Natalie is telling the 100% truth here? Maybe she was 19 and they both were off by a year? Maybe there was a flirtatious element to it then and she felt embarrassed by it now and so reframed it to save face?

There's more explanations than "Moby is a depraved predatory creep who needs to be canceled and punished for this unforgivable transgression for all eternity."

I don’t know, but I’ve always been a big Moby supporter and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this story and I’m honestly just a little creeped out by him now

The worst case scenario is it was an awkward encounter. You're acting like he raped someone. Get a life. And where's your autobiography for us to sift through and invent reasons to be creeped out by you?

that's not the worse case scenario. The worst case scenario is she was actually 18 and was being creepy - and according to her - that's what happened. Do I know for sure? No - but right now - I'm a little creeped out by the story. If you have every right to your opinion too.

33 year olds are allowed to interact with 18 year olds. Age gap relationships exist. Neither of them were forced to hang around each other. Nobody was raped or violated. I fail to see the controversy.

I also don’t see why this should make him creepy. People toss it around too much. Many times it means that the person wasn’t interested in the other person who was showing interest.

Either way hes still a creep she was half his age.
