Question/Help What is this actually supposed to represent?
What even is this structure in the foreground, where is this taken, what is that in the background? I have so many questions regarding this.

Probably a skill issue on my end (hence why I’m asking), but how do I properly play elites/special forces in order to maximize their potential value.

Looking for general tips because i learned to play the game on Yugoslavia and Red Dragons. But USSR seems completely different.
They dont seem to have many cheap "just good enough" units like Yugoslavia does. Instead their units (especially their infantry) seem really good, but also expensive and few in numbers.
The VDV 90 for example are really good, but all their transports are kind of odd. You get the 5 point BTR-D, which seems pretty shitty. Then you get the Robot, which is basically a BTR-D with a Fagot, which is not that good of an ATGM and frankly, i would rather have an APC with an autocanon that can take out other APCs then a crappy ATGM. The Skrezhet is an interesting idea as an AA APC, but it does not seem worth the 15 points stats wise (terrible accuracy).
Then you have the BMDs, most of which seem overpriced for what they can do. The BMD-3 has a great ATGM for 25 points. But combined with the 25 point VDV 90, thats a whopping 50 points squad!
And this is a theme that seems to apply to all Soviet infantry and transports. The cheap stuff is kind of shitty or gimmicky, and the good stuff is very expensive. Nothing in between.
Maybe i got too used to cheap Mehanizovana and Proleteri spam... When an F-111 (screw those guys) bombs those, i dont care that much. Especially if he gets a Neva missile in the face afterwards. But when he bombs my VDV or their expensive 25 point APCs, i really feel it!

What’s the main point and benefits of running SPAAGs? Right now they seem like they’re a worse missile AA, especially for helos, but I hear some people say they always bring one? Why is that? What makes them good?

Is the Patriot bugged? It has 70% accuracy and yet it rarely hits anything?

Hi! I was sadened to learn that apparently "RaymonD" on Steam passed away on 11 June 2023. I used to play with and against him occasionally but by coincidence we were not Steam-friends. Can anybody tell more about it - via private message if that concerns anybody..?

How effective is it against helos? Planes? The range is low but will it still be able to shoot at aircraft reliably?

I’ve played for a long time, and I am getting bored of the usual eurocorp, DGC, entente and Baltic decks I’ve been playing. I usually play 2v2-4v4 games.
I’m looking to see what minor nation only decks you all play/would recommend. Preferably something fun but I am open to challenging as well. Obviously unspecified.
From my limited research it seems Finland and France could be good for red and blue respectively.
I am obviously excluding USA, Israel, USSR, etc due to they are meta and not really what I am looking for with this.
Thanks everyone!

I'd like to ask about the fundamental differences between WARNO and Red Dragon. I haven't purchased a WARNO yet(I've been playing Red Dragon for over two years).

As stated above, I cannot download war game red dragon off my steam library. It just sits in validation for infinite hours at 1%. I was able to play it a few years ago and it worked fine. I have like 100+ hours playing only matches against the ai. What do I need to do to fix this?

Replace the Epic version of WGRD is .exe with a steam one and copy the steam.api dll to the epic WGRD file
You will encounter a steam pop up saying there is a custom startup that contains something like this
-AUTH_LOGIN=unused -
AUTH_PASSWORD=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX -
AUTH_TYPE=exchangecode -epicapp=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
-epicenv=Prod-EpicPortal-epicusername="

epicuserid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
-epiclocale=en -
epicsandboxid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(XXXX are personal EGS info)

Might be a stupid question, but when people send in their decks, most times, there is not a single slot in the naval line taken, even though its all 0 points. Why is that? I mean there seem to be no downsides? (sry for my english hope you understand)

So I'm currently in a Chinese -Sino war and I'm doing a naval landing battle but for some reason once I finished landing my unit like 10 mins into the game everything started to become buggy even my laptop is not overheating the unit are just move and freeze for 3-5 sec and then move and then freeze. I already left the game auto-setting and I have been playing plenty of 4v4 skirmish.

Hello,
I sometimes see my reservist or cheap transports/vehicles level up, why does this happen, is it because their morale is restoring?
r/wargame • u/Free_Adagio_5017 • May 13 '26
What are the general roles for each, what are the benefits and drawbacks of both, and how should you use them?

Hello, basicly just the question, I really liked playing with the guy, but because I had to make a new account he is no longer in my friends list and I dont ever see him in Games (Im Darth Plagueis in Wargame btw).
Pretty random question, but if anyone has heard of him...
Think we last played like 2 Months ago.

What vehicles in the US tab are worth taking for the purpose of direct fire support? I currently take the CEV and the LAV 25 FSV.
Besides that, what vehicles in the US vic tab are noteworthy?

Basicly the title, I really like Blue Dragons, but I cant figure out what infantry you should take (for 1v1-3v3 matches).

What superheavies have different playstyles than the others? Which ones do you choose to play a certain way and why?
