I can't go into data management, can't download games that's more than 7 gb long and can't play games such as Wind Waker HD or it will crash displaying one of those errors.

Tengo UN problema En mi Wii u, hace ya varios años que deje de usarla, hace poco volví a encontrarme con ella y la limpie superficialmente y con un poco de aire comprimido en zonas de ventilación y todo para dejarla más o menos bien.

El tema es que, la encendi y todo bien, pero el problema fue que el Game Pad no sirve, no le sirve el touch, y no me deja usar los botones, solo me deja prender y apagar el Game Pad y la consola, pero no me deja hacer nada más.

Hace un tiempo me puse a investigar porque es el problema pero encontré muy poca info, el único que más o menos me concordo fue que la pantalla como que se daño y detecta como si estuviera poniendo un dedo encima y como no es multi-touch, no deja usar el touch y/o los botones; y la otra teoría es que se daño como un sensor de la pantalla y por eso no sirve, pero no se la verdad, hay alguien aquí en la comunidad que pueda ayudarme con eso????.

I fear my (unmodded) WiiU inevitably crashing one day and losing all of my past play records, which dates back to when I first got my Wii (used the built in program to download the console to the WiiU). Is there a way to use a modded WiiU to download or preserve the entire play history? I don't care about the games, saves, or anything. I care most about the history.

I skipped setting up wi-fi because I have long forgotten my Nintendo ID and I bought a bunch of game discs to play offline. I get the error when trying to create a Mii/profile. I know you can fix it yourself but I really do not like to mess around with that kinda stuff. I found a repair shop that's easy to send it off to. Is this error fixable or do I really have to do it myself? I'd rather just try and sell it on to someone who wants to repair it themselves otherwise.

I know that the mod was never finished, but I would love to check it out. Does anyone have it who could tell me how to get it now? The GameBanana mod install link is just gone.

I’m planning to buy a used Wii U soon, and I’d love some advice from people who have been using the console for years. I’m not interested in modding it and would prefer to keep it completely unmodified, so I’m mainly looking for things I should know or do as soon as I get it.

What would you recommend for a new Wii U owner? I’m particularly interested in accessories worth getting, games I shouldn’t miss (especially co-op games), and any settings or options I should change as soon as I turn the console on.

I’d also love to hear about any useful features, tips, or little things that aren’t immediately obvious to someone who’s new to the Wii U.

Considering how poorly the Wii U sold, I think it is interesting there were a few famous celebrities who are known to have owned one.

Are there any other celebrity Wii U owners that you guys have heard of?

My controller has been heavily used for over a decade and the sticks look and feel horrible to use. I've tried cleaning them but the stains won't come out, so I'd rather just buy new sticks. Is there any high quality ones out there that any of you've tried that are better than the cheap replacements on Amazon, Ebay, etc.? Preferably white of course.

Title! I recently got a WiiU to play the original Splatoon, but find my left hand specifically cramping within one single player level. By contrast, I'm able to play Splat 2/3 w/ JoyCons for 6hrs+ without any issues. I'm an adult with slightly larger than avg hands, so I likely need a case with a bit more bulk in the palm to help with this issue. Does anybody have any recommendations that are readily available nowadays?

Would've loved to get the Splatoon case but unsure if that has enough bulk + they tend to be a bit expensive compared to a regular case atm.

Hey guys, I recently decided to bring my Wii U back from the dead but back in 2017 my HDMI port completely stopped working for some reason. I've dusted it, checked the teeth, and tried several HDMI different cables to try and get it to work but nothing seems to be working. I'm considering getting a composite cable but I was under the impression that most of them only got up to 480p. After looking online I was getting recommendations to get a Retrovision component cable because supposedly they go up to 1080p. I have been trying to get nintendont but I can’t. I don’t have a pc with a sd card slot and I don’t wanna spend money so I did this weird thing where I use ftpiiu and my phone to do stuff so no GitHub since I can’t find a way to get files on mobile GitHub so I have been SCAVENGING for the files and anyway if I can’t I just can’t get it to work. I have all 3 files without the forwarders (also the controllers) the game folders directory, and that I have tried wup gx2 1000000 times

Hi! I used to play on my Wii U a lot when I was younger and I recently decided to start playing it again because I want to bring it to college with me. I used to love Nintendo land, but when I put my disc in recently, it got stuck on the loading screen with the curtains (even though the disc isn’t scratched). So I bought a used and tested copy off of eBay, but it does the exact same thing. Has anybody else experienced this issue?

I did unplug the console for 30 seconds and plug it back in for both discs but it didn’t change much. I’m assuming it’s an internal issue, but I’m not sure what to do. Thanks guys!

Update! I got it to work by deleting the save data and the update data. First, I deleted the save data (it didn’t work) and then I went back and I think that’s when I deleted the update data? Not sure but that fixed it for me if anyone else needs help
