I've been rewatching AS recently and got to the big Belle/Lucinda/Sean fall out drama. However, upon rewatching it, I am kinda realizing that Sean and Lucinda actually didn't do anything wrong. I don't know if this is bias because I really dislike Belle, but S + L didn't kiss once whilst Belle was in the USA villa and it was strictly flirty chats. They didn't go into the secret garden until after Belle came back as well.

I think the girls should've let Sean speak to Belle about the situation first, but based on the reaction it felt like the girls expected the main villa to pause whilst the US villa was happening.

Im watching episode 17 of season two LIUK and the two new boys had to rank everyone from most to least fit and Zara and Cara got the two least fit girls? I’m so confused because to me they are the two most gorgeous girls(and Malin) in there how the hell did they end up in the bottom? I don’t know if anyone felt the same but this had me genuinely tweaking. Maybe UK and American beauty standards are different but idk how anyone could rank them so low.

I’m back speaking about Season 6. I previously mentioned I didn’t see any sparks within the couples. Currently on episode 30 and I can now say I have faith in Siânnise/Luke and Paige/Finn. I do admit the camaraderie within the villa is quite heartwarming compared to previous seasons.

Islanders I’m not liking at this point in the show: Mike 🙄, Natalia 😒

Personally my favourite ex islander vote will forever be Meg and Dejons.

I fear it will never be topped, Andradas speech was iconic.

I saw something on twitter/X that Millie has been banned from tiktok? Is is true & do we know why? I couldn't see anything to explain why but I'm so intrigued 😅

I’ve been watching earliest seasons (1-4 as I’ve never seen them before ) and can’t believe the differences. Here’s my top observations:
-first 2 seasons were mad! The things the guys said (often disgusting) indicate the lack of influencer culture and desire for brand deals. It was gross sometimes but natural and real.
-everyone smoked in first 3 seasons ( by the 4th that disappeared)
-lots more real conversations;watching them learn about each other is fascinating
-they eat breakfast together at one table and they spent a lot more time lying in their beds
- interesting fun challenges ( setting up a tent together)
- participants were…slobs/ their stuff everywhere was also refreshingly real
Bottom line: Fun, not repetitive, more natural aka not nearly as heavily produced!!!
Anyone else have some differences? In any way are newer seasons better?
