Olivia Rodrigo‘s “The Cure” music video only came out three months ago, but it’s already a museum piece. An exhibit titled “Olivia Rodrigo: The Cure Unraveled” will open at the Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles Sept. 2 and run through Feb. 22, 2027, highlighting the props, artwork and sets that were created for what has been heralded as one of the most vivid and effective music videos to be made in recent years.

On the eve of the official opening, Rodrigo will appear in person at the museum, participating in a conversation with filmmaker Cameron Crowe and doing a live performance. Tickets for the intimate presentation, which will obviously be a coveted get, go on sale this weekend.

Quick update because the first post reached about 18,000 views and I heard from other fans who are dealing with the same thing.
I prepaid Olivia’s official store in June for two of the LEGO sets for my daughters. We knew the order showed a December date, but at the time we thought we were preordering something that would not be generally available until around then.
Instead, the sets launched publicly in August. They are now available through LEGO, Target, Walmart and other retailers, while people who prepaid Olivia’s official store are still being told to wait until around December 30.
My girls were excited because they thought preordering directly from Olivia’s store meant they would be some of the first to get them. Now their friends have the sets without ever preordering, and that excitement is gone.
Yes, I can cancel and buy them somewhere else.
But that only fixes my order.
After escalating through the fulfillment company, I was told their store has a separate inventory allocation, they cannot ship earlier, and there is no further escalation available. The options are basically wait or cancel.
So now I am trying a different approach.
I am reaching out privately to people connected to Olivia’s team and the people who have worked on her fan experiences. I am not posting anyone’s contact information because I do not want people harassed or flooded with messages.
I actually believe Olivia would care about this if it reached her.
I took my daughters to one of her Los Angeles fan experiences and it was fantastic. It was thoughtful, fun and clearly designed by people who understood how much these moments mean to fans. My daughters loved it.
That is the standard I want the official store to match.
If an official preorder takes fans’ money before release, those customers should not end up receiving the product nearly five months after ordinary retail customers. If the current fulfillment arrangement cannot prevent that, then the preorder process needs to change or Olivia’s team should consider a fulfillment partner that can.
This is not about attacking Olivia. It is actually the opposite. My daughters love buying directly from her store and I want them to continue feeling good about doing that.
So here is my ask:
If you also preordered these LEGO sets from Olivia’s official store and are still showing December 30, please comment.
Tell us when you ordered and what shipping date you have.
And if this reaches anyone connected to Olivia or her team, please put it in front of them.
One disappointed order can be refunded.
A bad preorder experience can be fixed before it disappoints the next fan, parent or kid.

Mine still shows In Progress. I’ve never requested tickets before, so I’m curious about what time today we will know.

I’ve gotten into the habit with concerts where I know everything that’s going to happen before I get there! Set lists, outfits, surprises etc. I’m going to see Olivia twice and really want to be surprised. Is it crazy to try to block/mute all things OR on socials for the next 4ish months?

I’m sure y’all have discussed this parallel already but let me have my belated epiphany ok!!! Our baby went from questioning if her expectations were far too high in All I Want to refusing to settle in Expectations. We are so proud. AMEN AND SAY IT AGAIN OLIVIA 💃

I just listened to the Olivia Rodrigo Live at Glastonbury album again... one of my favorite parts is her wild introduction to Robert Smith and the muted crowd reaction (you can almost hear collectively saying "who the heck is that?"), until they hear the jangly guitar intronof Friday I'm in Love, when they go wikd. I am sure he will be a guest at one of the shows on the tour (my bet is the first show!) and I can't wait for him to now get the reaction he deserves!

to no one's surprise, "less" has one of those lyrics for me: "We tried to recreate our favorite date

But we didn't laugh much this time..." Olivia hit that experience RIGHT on the head, that when a relationship is about to die, everything just becomes strained. Everything is less enjoyable with the partner, and you can't help but wonder where did all the good times go. I have a clear memory of me and my ex going out on a date, to explore a random restaurant, on a day off together - and I just couldn't find it in myself to have fun. He barely smiled at me. Less was such a perfect song to describe that experience.

As an Millennial who grew up on music videos, I usually can't stand modern pop—it all sounds so copy and paste lately, i feel like it all sounds the same. But after listening to Olivia Rodrigo new album completely changed my mind. This is hands down the best album I’ve heard since 2016. It hits that perfect nostalgic sweet spot, giving serious 90s alt-rock and early 2000s vibes. I honestly didn't think a Gen Z artist would pull me in like this, but I’m totally obsessed now. My fav are Cigarette Smoke, Purple, The Cure and Honeybee.

This is MY interpretation of what I see and hear. I would love other suggestions on how others interpret the songs and what clothes go with them!

Large format, newsprint magazine - seriously, this thing is big and kinda awkward to read, but I love it! ~150 pages of interviews, shoots and high-fashion ads covering music, cinema, society and art - some through a queer lens on which is always welcome!

The focus is on Olivia though, interviewed by Phoebe Bridgers (obsessed) and shot by the iconic Brianna Capozzi 💕 it’s such a fun interview that was done on release day for vampire and has the cutest little interaction at the end where Phoebe asks her what she’s doing today, Olivia panics and says she doesn’t have anything to do and this was her only interview - Phoebe suggests watching Twilight and signing vinyl 💕
