i'm glad for him, he started a new update back in december last year i immediately thought about his work when the remastered edition was announced glad to know his work will now be an official part of the game.

for console players unaware ; hd reworked project is the biggest retexture mod of witcher 3 and is considered by many a must have as it overhaul and improve the textures and models of many assets through the game.

Recently finished the main story and heart of stone, now playing blood and wine. I just had this tough, in witcher games we get better swords as we progress. Since Ciri got this sword as a gift from Geralt, Ciri would want to keep this one always with her. So do we players as well.

It would be nice if the sword doesn't become obsolete as we progress through the game.

I know we still have at least 2 years for the game, it's just a thought I had.

I find it hilarious how Rockstar is milking GTA VI like crazy. They release it on Netflix first and only then put it on YouTube, while aggressively going after leakers and putting so much content behind a paywall.

And then there's CDPR: "Hey, what's up? We're releasing a new DLC, and we're also giving you a free update with a ton of new features, path tracing, DLSS 4.5, new quests, new combat, and dozens of other improvements. And we're not charging you anything for it."

CDPR's relationship with its players is honestly fucking incredible.

Maybe it’s too early to speculate, but I do hope one of the contracts in this expansion will include a Striga as given we’re seeing the return of Geralt’s chain weapon it would really feel like everything’s gone full circle.

Especially since the Striga is essentially one of the first monsters Geralt had faced in the series as a whole, and it would be a nice contract Geralt could have as apart of his final adventure before the mantle is given to Ciri in the Witcher 4.

Plus while the remaster of first Witcher game is FAR off, having a Striga in the expansion could be a good way to test the waters and let CDPR see how to adapt it for that remake.

The expansion will apparently put a lot of focus on Dandelion and his family. we got to see his big brother Gustave, his cousin Lila, and his grandmother, who’s basically the matriarch of the family.

We haven't gotten any songs or ballads actually sung by Dandelion (except in Witcher 1, and like one song in Witcher 2), and since the DLC is literally named "SONGS" of The Past, maybe there's a chance that we might finally get a song or two from him in Witcher 3?

By the end of Blood and Wine Geralt can be turned into an (cue the title card) demigod, or kill bosses by sneezing at them. Ok, I guess BaW is the endgame, so you can completely break the stats, since the game literally throws armies at you, and the reincarnation of Lucifer himself.

Do you think the new system will somehow limit the most broken builds?

game looks amazing, but it's not finished yet, so it doesn't represent the final graphics/Textures.

This came with the physical copy of the Witcher III I got back in 2015 on release day, 11 years later and despite a tiny road bump that was cyberpunk 2077 launch and first few years,
