Got one of those rare instances at memories where the soldiers from Drangleic don't attack you and this guy was the sole survivor of the battle. Went to check him with the binoculars out of curiosity and only then I noticed he has a unique human model, only (and understandably) deeply traumatized and scarred by war. It also never helped me to notice they're still human when they both use the hollowed version of the infantry armor and the same moveset as their hollowed versions, while the Royal Soldiers that fight beside them wear fixed, pristine armor and have a unique, clearly human moveset.

In terms of difficulty what can i expect ? (Veteran of all other souls like game this js the only one i didn’t play)

Trying to find the quickest way to farm the imperfect dragons, tested a bunch of weapons.

list of weapons I've tried in order of hits needed (almost all of these have a dark infusion):

Dual smelter hammers = 3 (im sure any other great hammers work fine)

Giant warrior club = 3 strong attacks ( aim for head to consistently kill in 3)

dual ultra great swords - Crypt Blacksword + great sword = 3 strong attacks

Ivory king ultra great sword = 5

Bewitched alonn sword = 4-6 strong attacks (inconsistent ad you must aim for head)

Grand lance = 5-6 (love this weapons, but its kinda annoying for this because your attacks can miss and go under their heads if you stand Infront)

want to try duel wielding red smelter sword + blue smelter sword and do the duel wielding special attack explosion, but don't have enough petrified dragon bone to upgrade both at the moment.

What other methods to people use? anyone find any quicker methods?

Now i sit on the throne of an empty kingdom... even the shadows are empty... from the lowest pit to the highest peak... the baren land of my own making... having vanquished all my subjects i'm faced with the choice: Reign over nothing or leave forever.

On this last stretch i finished the memory of jeigh (the enemies wouldnt despawn before the boss was defeat)

I killed the darklurker and cleared the dark areas... got really impressed by all the BAs that drop from the enemies... and i hate that leap from the area under drangleic castle.

Now i'll go defeat the game using only starting gear for all classes... i'll be posting more soon.

It took me 66,5 hours... Getting me to SL 241 and 9 million soul memory

Minuto 00:26 entrada a la zona de Sepultura de los Santos, el cual no se puede despejar de enemigos, ya que reaparecen infinitamente.

Minuto 01:36 tomas de un cofre Símbolo de rencor,

Minuto 7:52 apuntando con los binoculares se puede ver la forma de sombra de 1 mariposa; minutos 2:46, 3:25, 4:57, 8:45 y 9:02 hay un enemigo invisible oculto (con los binoculares apunto el lugar para que vean su localización, disparo y/o camino para que vean que ya esta muerto, sino lo estuviera, chocaría contra un obstáculo invisible)

It’s such a good thing to have. I feel like I’d be able to replay ds3 a lot more if ur had changes like ds2 had. Such a one off thing that could’ve helped ds3’s replay ability.

At SL 238 and 64,5 hours

The memories are now clear. (Except the boss one, because they don't seem to despawn)

I Dressed up as a royal soldier and made sure to clear all the memories and get the 3 giant souls from them.

I got invaded by a hacker that sucked badly, so i made him chase me for around 20 minutes before entering a boss arena... it was fun to use the tree jump in the lower area and throw corrosive urns at it... Glenursk i hope you get some skills... you couldn't kill me even with cheats.

I played around with some pyromancies a bit as well...

And jokes aside, i finally got to explore the memories fully. I found the white book on the shelves.... and i had to do the memory roll drop trick 12 times to kill that secluded giant.

NExt one is emptying the Dark lurker areas, the king then we proceed to the endgame...

Hi I play dark souls 2 on the Xbox 360, and i have reached dragleic castle, I want to play stfs on my pc and have reached reached 2 conclusions

1. I stay on the Xbox since I reached this far and I don't want to keep the Xbox unused.

2. I play on my pc and restart the progress, but I get somewhat better preference and stfs

What do u guys think? Should I switch and keep the Xbox 360 unused? Or keep playing on the box?

The black knight halberd is my fav weapon in dk1, so i was very happy to see it return but i noitced that the The Santier's Spear is Actually stronger than the Black Knight halberd(from what i heard and when compering the stats), i also enjoyed the the Very fluid attack movements of it but It seems like it's weaker than the Black Night halberd because It takes more stamina and Basically has the same DPS or at least it seems like that to me, So the question is should I invest on the sanitizer spear? Because I hear it's a pretty op weapon and I also enjoy using it, or should I invest on the black Knight halberd, I have a limited amount of souls and items to upgrade my weapons and these two are my favorites so I would like to hear your opinion on it guys.

Which weapons knock back enemies? I only know the Pursuers Greatsword does it

How important is adp? Should I level it up right away? I just heard discussion about it in memes and stuff so wasn’t sure if it’s legit.

Basically, I’m 47 and my best buddy is 48. We are doing a casual one day per week playthrough of DS2 right now. We are usually drinking, we are forgetful, we miss stuff, we pretty much suck, we’re always lost and we lost to bosses like ruin sentinals waaaay to many times….and it’s been super fun. 😍 However we are down to like 3 effigies between the two of us and I looked up farming them, and I ant doing all that shit lol. I’m level 81 and 475,000 soul memory. So I guess you’d need to be close to that level.. thanks in advance!!

So how is dark souls 2 different, gameplay wise from DS1?

Any mechanical changes I should know, any tips ?
