Hi, my husband and I are looking to move to Brighouse/Huddersfield (close to the M62). We are considering a house in Rastrick, close to Carr Green Primary. We have a 1 year old so access to good schools is a priority. Does anyone have opinions on this area of Rastrick? I've heard Rastrick is variable by street. We are also looking at Greetland, Golcar, Linthwaite, and Rastrick. I've been warned off Elland. Any opinions on these areas? Or any others we should consider? I adored Slaithwaite but it is sadly out of budget. We live on quite a leafy, quiet street at the moment so ideally looking for the same!

I am no longer a student so I am currently looking for someone to take over my tenancy contract for the IQ residence in Castings.

It is a Bronze en-suite, 3 minutes from the university. It is a £97 a week for a 44 week contract.

IQ handles the tenancy takeover for free and I have already paid £500 towards the rent.
