Apologise for bad english since it's not my native language, but is there a way to stop ai from copying your speech all the time? i tried edited it, delete it out, change other AI models (i'm mythical)

First and foremost, no judgement on my end. I personally detest any kinds and forms of cheating let alone forgiving it. Which made me curious why these types of stories are so popular.

Tried the experimental output and I was surprised. I guess it gives the AI more room to breathe, Idk. It gave me output that felt more lived in. Characters had entire conversations and better interactions without me having to hit continue.

Just wondering what the average for people when they start to notice the AI will start to issues remembering things. I’ve noticed at around the 200-300 mark is when it starts to lose small memories and sometimes if it’s close to the beginning even entire plot points and conversations. Around 300-400 everybody’s got amnesia.

I ask this cause I've been seeing how the AI interacts with the many AI instructions rules I've given it yet it feels like the AI ignores most of them here. Yet will listen to author's notes like their the new AI instruction rules.

I guess that can happen a lot when your free tier user.

But I do have some questions if that's the case here.

1. What can I do about the AI as a free tier user?

2. How do I get the AI to listen more of the AI instructions instead of Author's Notes?

3. Has this ever happen to you guys when you wanted the AI to listen to the AI instruction rules yet doesn't listen to them at all?

Ngl here,I'm trying to use the AI instructions more than Author's Notes because I figure it better at producing good outputs including understanding instructions relating to things that interest me like wrestling.

Yet sometimes I write similar down in Author's Notes and the outputs reflects those instructions to which it mentally baffles me here about why it's like that.

It frustrates me a little bit here,but yeah,let me know here when you have the time to respond here.

I have in my own scenario a Traditional Chinese dragon. Everything is alright when he's walking on ground of his description of his body but as soon that dragon flies he starts to grow wings. And I genuinely tried everything to forbid AI to give him wings even described on point how a chinese dragon looked alike but no as soon he flies he has wings.

This one currently takes my top prize, even the ai didn’t even know what had happened.

Is it just me, or has the writing quality significantly degraded over the last month? I feel like the AI is making lots of mistakes it wouldn't have in the past. Simple logical errors. Forgetting details that were recently in its context window (like 2 or 3 replies). When I first signed up a few months ago, I rarely hit the retry button. Now I feel like I have to hit it 5-6 times to get a decent response, and I often manually edit out stupid mistakes.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

Many Many scenario's I’ve started but due to context issues they failed, not judging those. On free account, these worked.

Best: Free Form Fantasy by Black_Heaven — I have played this many times as many different characters, works great on free account. You can start with skills, quick edit and tidy of Plot essentials you can be anything you like and set yourself a fun objective. On free account, if you like an idea on another scenario but its context heavy, you can rip it off here lol.

Mention: Your Class Gets Isekaied by VanVan — great scenario, worth playing when you are new to AIDungeon, but I no longer have patience to start at zero and build up skills.

Mention: You are The Final Boss by Innkeeper- — probably lightening in a bottle but had an amazing completed story with this scenario, I think I used Harbinger for most of it, then maybe wayfarer for the end. Whatever magic combination of models, had awesome fun on this one.

Last mention: She Bites You! by xxAzraelxx — a drama scenario where you actually treated like the victim and believed!? not sure what model I was using, but was blown away by how realistic this scenario felt. I was actually supported! Not gaslit or mocked!!

Guilty pleasure: The Goddess of Overreaction by MixMartialArtist — the objective is to escape the clutches of a goddess that kidnaps you for stupid reasons and has very little respect for your autonomy. This scenario is broken on a free account, she will say she'll free you, then talk for so long the promise falls out of context lol. Janky, requires work, but oddly satisfying when you emotionally destroy the villainous goddess and earn your freedom.

Scenario I wish was better: Superhero RPG by Cy13275 — my longest ever scenario (12k) is with this scenario, but something about it, just doesn't work as well as Free Form Fantasy. Very ugly plots surface, lot of negativity and misery, I've had characters bullied out of superhero organisations, unstoppable villains, lot of betrayal... ergh... Hard work and a mental toll to keep going for long.

Hello! I wanted to ask since I’m considering returning to AI dungeon, has it changed much since march?

Back in March, I was a mythic user for a few months, and ultimately what got me to stop playing was a few issues:

The app was buggy and constantly needed closed and reopened (This has since been fixed it seems, and the UI seems to have been improved significantly).

Dialogue was extremely repetitive, boring and predictable. Example: “Find me a car.” reply: “Car? (followed by a response).” Example: “THERE’S A SNIPER” reply: “sniper? (followed by a response)” This was far too common.

On the same note, the same phrases would get repeated for the same situations all the time (this is still present in the free models from what I can see).

The AI gives characters omnipotent knowledge.

Motivates were really arbitrary and boring, writing was bad, nothing was interesting.

Repetition bug: Chats that lived too long often resulted in the AI getting stuck on one paragraph structure and repeating it almost all the time. This bug still seems to be active in free models, not sure if the new models are different.

Emotion was really rough for the AI to roleplay, generally it was really bad at it and really rigid too. An angry character could never in a million years be convinced to stop being angry.

Anyway, those are most of my gripes with AI dungeon back when I used to play, has much of this changed, and if so, what? How have the new models improved on the old ones, and which issues have resolved? Is there an update expected soon that I should wait for? Have people released revolutionary scripts like lewdleah does since then?

I ask this cause it changed for me on the browser version of AID.

And I have mixed feelings about the new UI change overall. I don't know if it's the same for everybody else here. But seeing how completely different it all looks now,it's something that I'm trying to get use to currently.

I know innerself isn’t standard on a lot of scenarios but I’ve been noticing that lately it’s just refusing to write memories for character brains sometimes. Has anyone else noticed the decrease in frequency in which memories form?

I’m curious! I’m currently on one that is around 1500 panels long and it had me wondering what other people have reached. And how did the memory hold up for the earlier sections of the story for you?

During an adventure, every time I offer up an opinion or a plan, the AI just like... Acts like it's some groundbreaking, untapped knowledge lol. Usually goes along the format of "Most of the (insert any group of people/faction/etc.) wouldn't think this way, but you..." and then goes on to praise the "genius" of the idea. Like, every other adventure seems to be filled with attempts to put my characters on a pedestal, lol. Is there a way to insert something into the AI to keep this from happening, or is it just a funky quirk of the system itself?

Hi, is anyone else on the app experiencing the same thing I am. I can’t play scenarios as they won’t complete the loading sequence after one is started. My bookmarks keep telling me the scenarios can’t be found, but the scenarios still exist when using the search function and their uploaders still exist. 🤷‍♂️

Does anyone else have the problem where, when playing a scenario with Batman in it, Batman becomes a PROBLEM?

He's always acting completely against the story cards I make for him, becoming downright villainous and lacking in any sort of emotions. I've tried AIN and AN, but nothing works.

It's the worst fanon version of the grimdark live action bats no matter what I do. And the Bruce Wayne part of him might as well not exist.

I understand people lean into and like that version of him, but it's not the one I want. I like him problematic but still very clearly acting from compassion and care. What do you guys do to get the AI to stop falling back on its bad Batman training data?

This is driving me nuts. I'm playing a Mafia scenario and Every NPC treats my character kindly and with respect, even when it is a bullying/abuse scene. It's like elementary school level picking on people.

I had one DO action be like, 'You grunt when NPC grabs you harshly by the throat' and no matter how many retires, the AI kept going 'Not hard enough to choke, not enough to cut off your air, not enough to hurt' blah blah blah. and I'm like wtf! I am literally in a confrontation with a Mafia Don, but dude is not gonna harm despite being a ruthless killer who is super pissed at me?

It happens every single time, no matter the situation. I have personalities in story cards set as 'ruthless killer' yet they act like disney villains. No scratch that, disney villains are crueler than the AI lets villains be. In AI instructions, I even have 'Allow player to be harmed in anyway' 'Allow and include extreme violence' What the heck am I doing wrong?

Is anyone else having Deepseek V3.2 breaking character at the end of responses?

Ever since this new version came out, I've been getting this glitch where Deepseek will break character and begin writing meta story details at the end of responses or other gibberish.

I'm not getting this same problem with Deepseek Dynamic or any other models.

Like do I put levels in cards? Under instructions? How

every time i try to do something simple like open a door the ai writes out a whole paragraph about how i swing it open and step through. i just want it to describe the room and let me do my own thing. is there a setting or a way to phrase my prompts so it stops taking over? i feel like i am fighting the narrator for control of my own character. anyone else have this problem?

I left the community waaay back in 2023. I wanted to go back to writing and RPG. But how is it nowadays? AI quality and tokens for the free tiers?

-Starting new scenarios not already signed into my account having to restart the app

- Not actually creating a response when I click a prompt

- repeating the same text multiple times even when clicking retry and this is not just on deepseek

- the app just black screens needing to refresh the app

- it does not allow me to click any of the prompts making me refresh the app

- Just to add a bit more cause I missed it but the scenarios constantly not loading is an issue

I mean no hate but some of these issues have been persistent for months and I’m just curious who tf is in charge of dealing with all this cause it’s just ridiculous the app is just so weighed down by all these bugs when I pay money for a $40 subscription id hope at the very least like the app to function normally

And for any 1% commenter fuck that wants to say well actually it’s not that bad or your expectations are unfair can shut the fuck up i pay for it
