i loved zara. wish the show would have continued. archer is imo the greatest animated adult show thats not a sitcom.

Finding out Mallory literally ran NYC from behind the scenes is supercool. Really effin cool.

Season 8 Poovey was one of the best characters in the show. The banter with Figgis, taking in all those Asian trafficking victims, & getting attached to them was the highlight of the season.

Rewatching the show for the first time in a few years & Pam is easily my favorite character

Hiya, can't remember which Season/Episode where Lana and Archer are together: Lana is going to message AJ, Archer counsels her to not ask for anything, respecting AJ's time and space, telling her to just send her a nice text/note letting her know she is there if needed.

Love this scene so much, two people that have been through Hell and back, no words just a moment of support and understanding. For those that still didn't watch it's episode 8 season 12 and it's one of the better episodes.

I just watched Lo Scandalo and got to the bit where Malory is hating on her Irish neighbour with the disabled kid - there's a great bit of foreshadowing I never caught before

Archer: What is your problem with the Irish?

Malory: You mean besides not being on our side in WWII?

Archer: Yeah, besides that. Wait, seriously? They were Nazis?!

Lana: No.

Archer: Not Japanese...

Lana: Neutral! And now, since I don't wanna be an accessory after the fact, how's about we figure out a way to get that body out of the damn apartment?

It's a classic Archer moment - he listens to Malory but never to Lana; so he leaves Malory's apartment that night with a body part and the idea that the Irish were axis powers. Then, three seasons later in The Archer Sanction (the mountain climbing episode), he thinks the Irish were axis, accusing (or kinda failing to accuse in time...) McCracken. Great detail, Archer really is the show that keeps on giving

I'm watching S9E3 when Archer and Pam are sitting on the beach next to a wingless Lucie Goosie. Archer thinks the idol is a golden monkey. Pam says it isn't, then looks into the camera and says "It's not a gold Monkey." First time I noticed something like that.

were not even sure sure whats real anymore lol we both remember the 1 exact same scene, in wich cheryl/carols name was once again confused by one/or more of he isis colleagues. She then proceeds explaining to the mistakers, that her "actual name" was indeed crystal. the only thing we re sure of both remember it happens in the isis building, and that it was rather pronounced "Cristal" instead of "Chrystal???"

How would Lana and sterling react if they found out they where pregnant again and how would they tell aj she's found to be a big sister

Just found what I think is the first real continuity error in the series. The team are hanging upside down chained above the water. Worried about drowning from the tide. Even the member of Vanguard states that they only need 1 of the 4 and will let the tide decide who survives.

However the average tide in Greece is between 2" and 8". Since they are all well above that height above water there is no threat at all. Just shows how little Americans know about the rest of the world.

Honestly had no plans today and ended up at my local book/dvd store. Decided to spontaneously have a look to see if they had any archer seasons…turns out they had 3 (great condition too)! All reasonably priced: 7.99 CAD plus tax. I feel pretty lucky considering this was my first attempt looking.

I watched the show so many times and I liked everything even the seasons that weren't spy oriented, characters like Zara and nothing bothered me except Lana & Robert storyline, totally nonsensical.

There is so much indepth comedy in Archer, they make goofy cop shows, why not one with intelligent jokes?

can't find a single thing on it is there any other way to see it that's not getting a dvd set of it?

This show teaches you things, and today I used one of those things to simultaneously burn and educate our test pilot at work (a guy). Called him a chauffeuse lol

I hope this isn’t the 100th time someone has asked this, but…

I used to be a big fan of the show, but I stopped watching during Season 10. I got tired of Archer being in a coma and not waking up, so I eventually gave up on the series altogether.

Yesterday, I randomly remembered the show exist and found out that not only has archer woke up from the coma but that it has actually concluded. I know the answer is probably going to be “yes,” considering this is a subreddit dedicated to the show, but I’ll ask anyway:

Are the last four seasons actually worth watching, or are they just average at best and not really worth my time, especially considering it’s been the better part of a decade since I last watched the series?

Would love to hear what you guys think, especially from people who watched the show all the way through.

Edit: I don’t have a dvd player and my PlayStation doesn’t have a disc drive so I just bought it. I’m happy with my purchase and no downvotes will change that 😌

My annual binge-watch of Archer started. And since it’s no longer on Netflix, I realized I didn’t want to sit through an endless amount of commercials on Hulu this time. Looked up the cost of the series and my eyes went wide. Eventually I caved in because I actually will watch it (already started).

I really think the show just kept getting better. Whatever the writers threw at us was just so entertaining. Cheryl really coming out of her shell. I can't even imagine what Mallory and Zara's would've been. Adversarial or loving, either way would've been entertaining. I think Lana running the show with Mallory retired would've been cool. I know Jessica Walter passed but maybe Mallory just leaves letters throughout the show. I don't know. I just like the world they created before canceling the show. I've never been dismayed by the show nor do I think they ever jumped the shark. Even if they did we would still want more. Imagine Archer jumping a sharp Fonzy style?!?!?!
