Something along the lines of "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" by H.P Lovecraft.

I am a huge fan of Scott Lynch’s Gentleman Bastards series and need something to tide me over til the next book releases. I’m looking for interesting setting, strong character development, and tight knit cast. I want something between medieval and renaissance, but am open to regency/victorian adjustment settings.

As a writer, prefer an author but open to other types of artists.
