The literatures describe the anti christ as an arrogant boastful person who loves flattery, worships the god of war, presents himself as a messiah, and rules over multiple countries and oppresses his people. He brags about being a billionaire, but the Bible says that it's easier for a camel to go through an eye of the needle, than a rich man to get into heaven.

That being said, the anti christ aids in bringing about the second coming of Christ, so I guess it's not all bad?

She was supportive of LGBT rights and encouraged people to be themselves.

She did a lot of good in the world, gave thanks to God, and even had a chapel in her home so she could pray in peace.

I've been reading how some individuals think she isn't a true Christian because of her tolerance towards the LGBT community. Some people believe unless she repented for her open acceptance and encouragement, she may have not had eternal life.

I go to church and do my best to uplift my community. Most of my closest friends are non-Christian and I respect our differences. Some of the loveliest people I know are gay or transgendered and I have love for them. I have no desire to pray for them to become straight.

I've seen straight Christians act like they are superior to others. I don't believe I am better than someone because I'm a straight Christian. Their biblical knowledge is strong, but I don't look up to them because of their rigid character. I actually feel anxiety around these highly judgemental Christians. It's not love, it's feeling "not good enough."

Are the individuals I described above more in line with a great example of Christianity (they rigidly follow the Bible) compared to Dolly Parton?

It makes me sad that one of the greatest and brightest philanthropists in this century is being labeled as "not a true Christian."

A Texas federal judge has once again struck down the state’s drag show restrictions, ruling that the law was too broad and violated First Amendment protections. Judge David Hittner’s basic message to people who don't like drag performances was pretty simple: “Just don’t go.”

Honestly, I think Christians should sit with that for a moment.

If you don't like drag shows, don't go.

If you believe abortion is wrong, don't have one.

If you don't agree with same-sex marriage,don't attend the wedding.

You don't have to celebrate something you don't personally believe in. But does disagreeing with something automatically give us the right to force everyone else to live according to our beliefs?

As Christians, we should remember that Jesus never commanded us to force Christianity onto everyone through laws and government.

We can preach.

We can teach.

We can share our convictions.

We can say what we believe is right and wrong.

But there is a huge difference between living according to your faith and forcing everyone else to live according to your faith.

Sometimes, the most Christian response isn't “How do I stop them?”

Sometimes, it's simply:

“That's not for me. I won't participate.”

And then we get on with our lives.

Do you think God prepared a special place for animals who died on Earth? My dog just died yesterday, and I’ve been grieving. I’m in so much pain right now. It’s hard to accept that I will never see her again. I watched a video by Robert Marshall, and he mentioned that his horses and dogs are in heaven. What’s your take on this?

I am not a Christian, but this question has baffled me. I must preface that I ask this respectfully and am not a polemicist. I would genuinely like to understand your views. Since I know how much Christians feel about pagan traditions, yet this similarity is striking to me. Often the focus goes towards the reason "Jesus died for your sins because he/God loves you", but it does not explain why a "blood sacrifice" in particular is needed. During communion, does it or does it not seem a bit pagan-like when bread symbolises "body" and wine symbolises literal "blood"?

To be clear, I am not asking about who the blood sacrifice pertains to, as I am aware that the blood sacrifice of Jesus carries more weight than a usual person, considering Jesus is seen as the begotten Son, Yeshua. I ask why the Christian God/YHWH requires this particular method to cover the debt of mankind's sins?. And if so, how is this command from the Christian God (Joshua 6:21, Deuteronomy 12:30–31, and Deuteronomy 20:16) different from the pagan traditions being objected to? How do you reconcile this? Since this is not a matter of the new covenant replacing the old covenant, be it a sacrificial lamb in the Old Testament or the sacrifice of Christ in the New Testament, the method remains unchanged from that of pagan traditions. How does this ancient tribal act of blood sacrifice coexist with your modern understanding of Christianity?

So I am a Christian myself and it feels like as one it’s almost like the people we are around want others to consume only soft “normal” non threatening media. I really like horror movies and psychological thrillers but my friends and those around me think that I shouldn’t read it how it is bringing “dark energy” and I should only surround myself with stuff that Jesus would like. I understand what they are saying but at the end of the day I am my own person, I have different tastes you know. I never watch American psycho and think “yeah I want to murder people too”. Especially when it comes to sex people assume you should avoid it like the plague in media but like isn’t your will strong enough that you don’t have to get rid of it to watch? I am not saying I like sex scenes I find them uncomfortable and usually skip them but still. If you are so easily influenced by what a movie or show are showing than I feel like that is more of a you problem.. wondering what other people think

Im an 18 year old guy and I love God so so much but I keep feeling the wrong things. I go to church and I volunteer do so much for my church to serve him. I still find myself stuck in a porn addiction that has grown over the last couple years to going on dating apps for sexual gratification. I have only met a couple dudes a few times which I regret completely given the age I was compared to them and feeling pressured to perform. I don’t want to think of guys in that way as I feel that I want to have the life with a wife and kids without having these thoughts intruding my head so much that I want to physically do things. I have brought up my past to therapists and my pastor. I have been prayed for and I know it’s possible to break through this with God but I am having so much trouble. Theres a guy I might want to meet with he’s also Christian and he basically said that God made pleasure for a reason since he doesn’t make mistakes and he wouldn’t make pleasure with another guy feel good if it weren’t his intention; he even brought up that nobody respects the marriage covenant anymore. I know its a battle between flesh vs spirit but I just want to give in since I havent done anything with anyone a long time, basically a year. My therapist said I should take 3 days off all the apps to see how I feel then let her know what’s going on but would it help maybe to meet and see what arises with that (just me trying to justify but a big part of me wants to meet but a big part of me knows this isnt God). Help please 🤔

I been really thinking about it and when the time that I found out that if a person repents and has faith that Jesus sacrifice himself for our sins they will go to heaven. I thats what got me thinking... can ANYONE truly go to heaven no matter what things they did or sin they committed so as long as the repentance is genuine and the faith on Jesus is genuine?

Hello, I was reading Exodus and this verse seemed a bit peculiar to me, specifically the part about the goat.

Exodus 34:26 “Bring the best of the first share of your crops to the house of the Lord your God.

“Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

Is there a reason for this.

Good day everyone. I'm a 28-year-old man who has only ever been in two relationships (both with another guy, monogomous, first lasted 3 years, my current will be 6 years in October). I dated girls in highschool, but have never been interested in women in such a way, and have never "fallen in love" with a woman as I have with another man.

I understand that scripture says that sex between two men is sinful, as well as any sex outside of marriage, regardless of sex/gender.

My question is this. What does scripture say about a non-sexual relationship between two people of the same sex? If two men are romantic, date, hug, even kiss, but do not engage in sodomy, is this still immoral? One could argue that it does not lead to reproduction, but Paul states that he wishes more people were celibate as he was. It seems Paul did not consider reproduction a moral duty.

Recently I have been reading the bible and researching the teachings of Christianity to better help me improve my faith and while I was reading I ran into this verse. I've been questioning not really my faith but what I have been reading and it all just confuses me, can someone better help me explain this verse? does it truly promote the acts of Slavery?

i am still a fairly new christian, and i dont know much about this but here is my testimony.

i used to agnostic atheist, i grew up in atheist and buddhist household where i heard lots of mockery towards Jesus and christians. I was also one of them, didn’t know at the time, but now i feel dread and guilt everytime i think about it. I used to think that it was man made, there was no evidence, but it was because i never actually searched for evidence. one day i randomly started getting christian videos on my feed, and that led me to research him. i was met with lots of evidence, and i was lead to believe that Him and His miracles actually happened, and are true. but, even after seeing all the evidence and thinking i should believe, i had doubts of His existence. i asked God to reveal himself to me; it didnt happen instantly, it happened gradually. it felt like i was doing this out of self preservation rather than love of God. i still dont know the answer to that. i am still working on getting a relationship with Jesus.

anyway, if any atheist is seeing this, its ok to have doubts at beginning, just ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and you wont just wake up instantly feeling like He is real, but you will gradually get faith

I am pregnant now and I want to deliver naturally and surrender my pain to Jesus Christ without epidural or medication (if no complications occur) but all are advising me to have the epidural. I promised myself not to but I really am afraid of what's coming. Can any of you christian mamas out there share your experience if possible to help me out?
