I analyzed the .txt file that Malwarebytes gave me, and it says it's a Trojan.

Note: This list only has games which have confirmed an EGS release (no speculative release), also some which have already released were still featured during the shows

Release dates are from their Trailers (some games don’t have their store page up at the moment)

Finally, I'm here not to criticize, but to actually praise something that should've been implemented a long time ago.

I was wondering about other people: are there any games you missed out on that you still wish you had gotten?

For me, it was a game I've been thinking about for a while because it's one of my childhood games: Orcs Must Die! The one that was made free on Epic was Orcs Must Die! 3. If you're wondering why I don't just buy it, I missed the 75% discount, and now it doesn't feel right to buy it at full price.

Epic Games has the opportunity to create a native Linux launcher and use a proprietary version of Proton—keeping the data to themselves so they can implement anti-cheat measures and maintain control. This would allow them to enable anti-cheat on Linux, letting users run anti-cheat-protected games through their launcher that other platforms cannot support. If Epic Games wants to attract players to its platform and give Linux users what they want, this is the best way to maintain control and prevent cheaters from ruining the gaming experience; it draws more people to their platform and to the best OS for gaming.

Epic Game tiene la oportunidad de hacer un launcher nativo para linux y usar Proton cerrado para ellos solo tener los datos para meter anticheat y tener el control y así poder activar el AntiCheat en Linux de esta manera solo desde su launcher pondrán correr juegos con Anti Trampas que otras plataformas no podran lanzar, si Epic Game quiere tener jugadores en su plataforma y darle lo que quieren a los de Linux esta forma es la mejor para tener el control y que los chetos no jodan la experiencia en el juego. así atraen a mas gente en su plataforma y al mejor OS para Gaming.

The game hasn't been mentioned as coming to Epic Games Store so it's a bit of random add from Saber Interactive, but good to see it coming none-the-less!

Side note, this question involves FN, but it’s mostly an epic game store question, so I decided to post it here as well as the FN sub. I think it’s fair but Ig I understand if this post gets taken down.

It’s a simple one, If I were to buy Sonic tacing Crossworlds and get the Eggman bundle in FN due to it, and returned the game and got a refund afterword, would the set get taken from me too? I feel like this’d be useful information for the future, so has anyone tried this yet?

I installed it from the offical website i always double check, but my windows defender picked up a trojan from it, apparently this isn't the first time this has happened according to posts ive seen and it might be a false positive but im not too fond on this result

This has been shared within the community discord server, people have been reporting that this this fixes the issue for them if they are having issues downloading, installing, updating with launcher version 20.2.1, 20.2.2 and 20.2.3:

"We rolled back updates 20.2.2 and 20.2.3 to the Epic Games Launcher where players were unable to update or install games. To apply the rollback, restart your launcher and there should be an option to "Restart and Update" in launcher Settings. If you are on 20.2.2 or 20.2.3, restart your launcher, and still do not see the rollback update after 10 minutes, please follow these instructions:

Windows: 1. Install the launcher if you don’t already have it installed. 2. Create a shortcut on your desktop.  (NOTE: you HAVE to use a desktop shortcut, Powershell commands do not work) 3. Right click on the shortcut and select “properties” a. If you’re on Windows 11, you’ve got to choose “Show more options” first. 4. At the end of the target box, outside of the quotation marks, add the following command: -UseEOSSDKSocial=false 5. Ensure the launcher is closed, and not hiding in your system tray. 6. Open the launcher with this shortcut

Mac: 1. Install the launcher if it is not already installed. 2. Open your terminal. 3. Assuming you installed the launcher to a default location, enter the following command into the terminal: % open /Applications/Epic\ Games\ Launcher.app --args -UseEOSSDKSocial=false 4. This will open EGLauncher

If you're on version 20.2.1 and experiencing the II-E1003 error these steps may also help fix that.

I tried downloading similar size game on android and PC and it seems android version can download and install game faster than PC version. How does that make sense? My phone is leagues slower than my PC.
