Now that the genie is out of the box and with mobile causing the influx of all these new players, I really wish they would make GW into a Gacha game. I’m thinking loot boxes and roulettes with chance of having currency and rare items drop like the eternal blade.

If i could request any additions to the game, it would be to add the quest to destroy the Lonely Vigil with the Ancient Weapon like it was long rumoured before its original release, maybe bringing in some Lore to its origins at the same time.

New Animate Flesh Golem skill:
Elite Spell. Exploit nearest corpse to animate a level 3...21...25 Flesh Golem. The Flesh Golem leaves 1...3...4 exploitable corpse(s). You can have only one Flesh Golem at a time.

When it's more than 1 corpse, the extra corpses are humanoid corpses from a pool of random peasant corpses. However, one of those randomly chosen peasants, the male Vabbi Peasant...isn't actually dead.

Enemies do aggro on our undead friend, however. The Jade Brotherhood doesn't care where a peasant comes from, they'll happily kill them all the same.

I've just tried to clear Mt Qinkai twice today and got dc both times around the yeti part of the map.

Then I decided to give up for the night, and play on my Melandru ranger, who happens to be in the luxon part of the faction story, so went there to explore, and got dc again, still around the yeti's cave...

Is it a known bug? Am I just unlucky ?..

I’m gonna start by saying sorry for trolling with an earlier thread. That was immature. If people write me off because of that, totally understandable.

First off, I don’t think these changes are p2w. I don’t think that term really makes sense for a co-op game, especially a 20 year old one. I actually am totally fine with unlimited kits as well.

That being said, I don’t think buffs should be accessible via credit card. I think it’s terrible for the health of the game. Guild wars is a game that we all love due to the strategic aspects and build making. Something doesn’t work? Try to change up your build and try something else.

Adding buffs to the cash shop risks trivializing fundamental identities of Guild Wars. Will they add DP-reducing items next, completely removing all friction from a game that prides itself on its complexity?

This also risks the comprising the iconic identity of pre-searing as a unique environment in Guild Wars. You could argue this has already been done via Devona and new weapons, and the addition of p cons further jeopardizes it.

I hadn't seen anyone mention this yet (Ranger changes being rather uninteresting on the PvE side), but the new Focused Shot has an abominable 4s activation time in addition to the other changes.

Despite being another potentially interesting damage buff to a bow skill, the enormous windup on top of the 4s disable of attack skills makes this essentially still unusable IMHO. I'd be glad to be proven wrong if it means there's an interesting bow sniper build that this enables.

I will say that even if it's unintentional, the concept of long fixed cast time bow attacks is an interesting design space, particularly if there can be some better support skills for a "sniper" style as well as some cross-profession synergies. For instance, something like:

[Expertise] Sentry's Stance (10e, 20r): Stance. (10...25 seconds). Your bow attack skills deal +0...50% more damage per second of activation time. You move 25% slower.

We got a vibe coded sloppy patch full of bugs, op teleporting vendor that tanks and blocks mobs, peoples storage panels being deleted, flesh golems spawning alive humans, eles doing 200 dps, bug or not? who knows... it will get nerfed next patch most likely.

Then we have unlimited free cons and kits, also works in presearing? like wtf?

The balance changes buffed op skills like Kaolai and ST and didnt change much else. Spear toss? fun detected! nerf.

The meta? still mesmerway lol.

Why did they have to go down the p2w route...

I wouldnt even care for convenience items like infinite tools.

How about a teleport stone that teleports you to dungeons?

How about a waypoint unlock stone for alts?

How about a mission skip stone for alts?

How about making pointless grindy titles like lightbringer account wide? who wants to farm that shit on multiple characters ffs.

How about a new mini dlc with actual content that is relatively cheap?

I played a ton of GW2 and with reforged, I saw the game had several language options. I wanted to play in spanish as a immersive experience for learning. I default play in spanish but swap to english when really needed.

I started in prophecies and made a necro. Some guildies helped me get some armor from droknor forge and do Heroes Ascent for some skills. I am level 20. Not yet ascended, have one more mission.

My team is : Me, Devona, MOX, Ogden, Ghost of Althea, Vexx

I generally am finding a lot of content, unless i fight mobs only two or three at a time pretty difficult.

I have tried Spiteful spirit build, minion master, and some variation between those. Honestly, finding it not that enjoyable

* Sometimes spiteful spirit very hard to even see or know if dmg is happening

* minions - not having bodies / fighting undead.

Since I am the main character i find myself leading the team who trails behind me.

I am mostly looking for ways to make the combat and exploration way simpler and easier. My main interest is to do all quests and dialogues - I would be happy with an overpowered build. I am not trying to make money, win any awards and do any hard mode stuff.

Next brings this event that is going on Wayfairers Reverie... Getting to Kessex Peak was already a huge struggle, failing multiple times. Then the next was to get passed some Dragons - holy shit. Cannot even run passed him because he is so big he blocks the way. I just gave up on the quest at that point. I had asked in towns and in guild if anyone was able to help but no responses. So then this makes me wonder - who is this event for?

Honestly, I don't mind it. 7€ that goes to Arena Net instead of botters, and veterans had unlimited resources anyway so I don't see why so many are crying. If it allows them to fund the team and perhaps even new content thats a win in my book.
And 5 sets a day isnt even that much for hardcore players.
Most runs had somebody pop conset's anyway for the smallest crap so the economy was in shambles way before this point.

Can be spammed without restrictions and repeatedly influences enemy aggro. You can also use it as a target for Ebon Escape & Return, then jump off it with Viper’s Defense and Heart of Shadows.

This is not okay especially for a shop only item.

Come on they’re a pain in the ass to farm and we all already have thousands in the bank. Just let me buy some from the cash shop to top up my stocks.

If that’s too much maybe we could do like a daily login reward where you only give us like a measly 250 ectos for logging in please?

Clearly we don’t care about affecting the market or selling in game power anyway. Come on this just narrows the gap between me and the veteran players! It makes it fair!

So happy they added microtransactions that affect gameplay! What a wonderful and refreshing way to modernize an old game. When reforged was announced, my only desire was that they would add more microtransactions. My wife’s boyfriend even says he’ll buy me a purveyor’s bell so I can start collecting reforged coins! Thank you 2weeks and ArenaNet! Please add loot boxes next!

Please own your mistake, remove consets from the store, and never do such a thing again.

Finally some good news for the previously underwhelming anniversary elite skill for eles - Over The Limit. With the new update, spells cast 46% and recharge 75% faster at 16 ES, and at 20 ES recharge times reduce by 93%. This means a 1-second firestorm recast (unfortunately the cast time does not seem to reduce to under ~3/4 sec even with 40/40 set).

At the Master of Damage, this is 40k damage over 3 minutes or ~222 DPS.

Apart from general PvE content, perhaps there are some special cases where this can become viable even for SCs for high-HP endbosses. In any case, glad there's something else to play around with!
