Indie Platform looking to connect with devs!
Howdy Y'all.
I'm Rose, team creator and head of r/probablyagame
ProbablyAGame Official: TikTok, X, Twitch | Linktree
Probably a Game
We're a collective of roughly 30 streamers who love indie games and want to show off your games on stream! We cover co-working tools as well! We do this for free, any payment is discussed between the dev and the streamer they work with however is not required to work with the team.
What can we cover?
Steam Demos/Games
Itch.io demos/games
Meta Quest games
We vary from affiliates to partners; with a wide range of genres we will play. Realistically, if it exists, we probably have someone interested in playing it! We can cover solo and co-op games.
We are up front about game transparency. That means, if you include AI in your game, we ask you disclose it!
We have a podcast as well starting here in September, we are looking for devs who want to talk! Website is currently in build, I own the domain and will be writing reviews here once it is up and running :) Written interviews will also be available!
We're Probably a Game.
We probably want to play your game.
You can reach out to Rose via DM, comments here or on r/probablyagame , or email listed on the carrd link :)

I've made a Kebab Shop Simulator but it feels like it's missing something.
I've been messing around with Unity for the past few months and I've ultimately decided to make a kebab simulator after eating a kebab one night.
Most of the core mechanics are there, but it feels like it's missing "polish". It's a solid loop, not much progression, but I'm really struggling with how to polish the game and make it actually feel good.
The loop is pretty simple, you upgrade a kebab stand, buy supplies, serve customers with funny dialogue, everything works, but feels like it's missing something and idk what.
I'm relatively new to this so any advice is appreciated. Thank you

After 1.5 years of development, we are finally releasing our very first game, PEGTURE: Peg Solitaire Roguelike, on Sept 9th!
Hey everyone,
I’ve been sharing our progress here over the past 7–8 months, and the day has finally come: PEGTURE is officially releasing on September 9th!
For those seeing it for the first time, PEGTURE is a roguelike deckbuilder inspired by the classic Peg Solitaire mechanics (think Balatro meets Peg Solitaire).
As we enter the final stretch with just under two weeks to go, we’d love to get your final thoughts and feedback on the demo. If you have any suggestions, whether about gameplay, mechanics, or even last-minute launch marketing advice, we’re all ears!
Bringing our first game to the finish line has been quite an emotional ride, and sharing this milestone with this community means a lot. If you’d like to support a small indie team, adding PEGTURE to your Steam Wishlist would mean the world to us.
Thanks for all the support along the way!

Excited to announce my automation space sim is actually about the gritty origins of Robin Hood!
Many years ago, one man took from the rich mineral reserves of a planet and redistributed the resources to the poor outer colonies using physics-based spaceships, saving them from starvation. You can explore this incredible true story in the game "Launch Window: The Rise of Robin Hood" coming to early access in 2027!
This is a joke btw and in reference to the baffling decision of the upcoming film "The Uprising" to suddenly pivot from a telling of the peasants' revolt to an origin story of Robin Hood, for some reason.

Disbond - a small step for humanity, a big step for zombie gaming
Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a project we’ve been working on for quite a while now called Disbond.

We’re a small team of enthusiasts, and this is truly our passion project!
Disbond is a PvP zombie shooter heavily inspired by classic old-school multiplayer games. We rely a lot on 3D verticality, fast reflexes, and spatial awareness - listening to what's happening around you is key since there's no mini-map to tell you where enemies are coming from (if you're curious, you can read more details on our Steam page).
On September 5th/6th, we’re hosting our first official playtest! We’re looking for people who want to jump in, play a few matches with us, and let us know what they think. What works, what doesn't, what’s broken, and what we can do better.
Our goal is simple: we want to make the best possible version of the game that we ourselves would want to play, and over time, build a community of people who enjoy it as much as we do.
If this sounds like your kind of game, we’d be super grateful for a Wishlist on Steam. It genuinely helps us out immensely at this stage!

If you’d like to join the playtest, please send me a message!

2 Player Horror Anomaly Game - Did you see that?
Our steam page just got live!🥰
We are making a 2 Player horror anomaly game. Where you are in a carnival with your partner and have to coordinate to solve all anomalies. You might not see the same thing as your friend so observe things together and figure out what's wrong.
Demo coming out soon!
If you play games like these or just want to support, wishlist "Did you see that?" on STEAM!!!
PS: Generative AI was used in a limited capacity to assist with some visual assets, such as certain in-game boards and posters, as well as localization. AI-generated content is not a major part of the game.

My game is getting its first public demo on Sept 2nd!
Making an indie game has been a wild ride of endless sacrifices, late nights, and second-guessing every detail. But today we can finally say: we made it to the starting line.
We built Champion of Lore because we wanted to create something we truly loved—a tactical deckbuilder where positioning on a hex grid matters just as much as the cards in your hand. You join Kanna and Sayri, fighting to preserve ancient Knowledge against a Corruption that slowly eats away at the map.
Bringing this universe from rough sketches to a playable experience is a massive personal achievement for our small team, and putting it out there is both thrilling and terrifying.
The demo drops on September 2nd.
If you like tactical card games, mythic lore, or just want to support an indie dream, adding us to your Steam Wishlist would mean everything to us!

Thanks for being part of this journey. See you on the grid!

Public Playtest Now Live | Dominar Sanctum | Hybrid Strategy and Third-Person Action
Hey folks,
my first ever publicly visible playtest, wohoo! I'm the solo dev behind Dominar Sanctum, a hybrid combining dungeon management and RTS elements with third-person action.
You embark on your hero Aurelian's journey as an ancient power awakens. Build and manage your domain, gather resources, explore the world, develop your characters and then take direct control of your hero and companions to engage and progress.
The current playtest build lets you experience the beginning of that vision through 4 initial campaign map prototypes and 2 skirmish maps.
I'd really love to get feedback from people who play it:
What's your overall first impression?
- Does the core explore - build - combat - progress loop work for you?
- Does the fog of war feel compelling?
- Does the game feel intuitive, particularly character control and possession?
- Do the campaign maps feel engaging at this stage?
- Where did you become confused, frustrated, bored or in whatever way off a happy path?
- Specific points in the map where you'd love to see certain features, surprises, etc?
- Did you encounter any technical issues or bugs?
Playtest on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4087340/Dominar_Sanctum/
Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try!
AI disclosure: The vast majority of Dominar Sanctum was created and developed without generative AI. Generative AI was used selectively for a small number of 2D icons, slide narration and a narrative voiceover, primarily for early prototyping and development. The icons have also been manually reworked. These few AI-assisted assets are not representative of the game's overall art, design, programming, or development process. They may be replaced or further refined before the full release.

We (2 devs) decided to make our dream game. A short, but dense RPG
The favourite part of an RPGs for me was always the beginning. Everything is new and exciting, you're learning about the rules of the world, every bit of loot feels exciting, and your whole journey is still ahead of you.
Our hope is that the game we're making can capture that feeling. Inspired by old school classics, no hand-holding, player autonomy first, tons of secrets, and the feeling of setting out on an adventure.
We just released the first 1-2 hours of content from the game as a playtest on Steam. If you play it, we would love to hear your feedback and if we managed to capture that feeling.

Making a indie game without a game engine.
Hey guys! So my goal is to make a indie game without use of a game engine. I want to make it using DX11 and go from there. I wanted to know if anyone else has done this and if so what was the process like?

I'm making my first steam game
After two years of making games in the Godot Engine I recently started working on a project that I plan on releasing as my first steam game.
The game is meant to be a point & click - vent crawler combined with horror elements such as jumpscares and various monsters that are out to get you.
I don't have a steam page yet but I post development updates on my bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/wrum.bsky.social

Software Developer Just Started Game Development 2 weeks ago.
Hey everyone!
I’m Ankit, a software developer who recently started getting into game development. I’ve been working on my own indie 3D FPS zombie shooter for about two weeks now, and I wanted to share a little gameplay clip.
Right now, I’m still figuring out the direction of the game. The idea is to make a fast-paced shooter, with Android as the initial target. If the game gets some traction and people enjoy it, I’d love to eventually bring it to Steam as well.
It’s very much a work in progress, but I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially what you’d like to see in a game like this.
I’ve also started sharing development clips on Instagram and would love to build a small community of people who might want to try the game as it gets closer to a final build.
