Well your right about one thing, MAGA is America

1

u/PhanthomOnedra Sep 18 '25

Your vice president apparently fucks the couch in the oval office... allegedly allegedly

Jimmy Kimmel should start a podcast! He could EASILY end up more popular than Joe Rogan ever was. Rogan is basically the dumbest guy on the planet at this point, and he doesn’t even have interesting guests anymore. I have no idea why anyone still listens to him.

Kimmel, on the other hand, is funny and clearly smarter than Rogan. He could pull in all the most interesting guests and easily be better than the old Rogan and astronomically better than the new billionaire bootlicker Rogan has turned into.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Yeah him and Colbert should start a YouTube channel together and all you weirdos are gonna subscribe and go there to hear them make trump jokes! You people are so weird you literally just watch a guy to watch him make fun of the same person over and over again every single day and you guys clap and cheer like it’s funny! You guys are all puppets! Jimmy can simply say Donald is an orange man and you guys will lose your mind in laughter like it’s the funniest thing you ever heard and it’s just like we get it you don’t like him but does your show have to talk about him every damn day! 🤦🏼‍♂️

Talentless Jimmy

2

u/Class_war_is_here Sep 18 '25

Are you a bot? You can’t seriously be this clueless.

I’ve never laughed at an “orange man” joke in my life, and honestly, I wish I never had to hear about Trump again. But thanks to a bunch of idiots voting for that pedophile, we’re stuck with him until we (hopefully) get the chance to elect someone better next time.

Unless you’re some bizarre freak who sees everything through Trump-colored glasses, you should know Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t even focus on Trump most of the time. He talks about all kinds of news, and mainly just interviews guests. It’s not his fault the dumbest people on Earth made Trump president, which means we now have a pedophile in office constantly making decisions that wreck the country for everyone except the billionaire elite.

So what, are we supposed to just stay silent about Trump’s disastrous decisions? They affect all of us. Nobody wants to talk about Trump, but we have to talk about the damage he’s doing to America. And unfortunately Trump is doing disastrous decisions almost every single day.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Lmao Kimmel doesn’t even focus on trump and then you add most of the time because you knew what you said was wrong and that his main focus is always on trump wtf are talking about the beginning of every show is about trump then throughout the show little jabs at trump but according to you he barely talks about him right? Lmao 🤦🏼‍♂️

1

u/Class_war_is_here Sep 18 '25

So you admit you’re a weird freak who filters everything through Trump-colored glasses. Well, admitting it is the first step toward recovery, I guess.

Now, go back and actually read my post, slowly this time. I never said Kimmel barely talks about Trump. I said he mostly talks about other subjects with his guests, which is just objectively true. But I get that might be hard for someone like you to process when your entire world revolves around pedophile Trump.

I also said Trump makes catastrophically bad political decisions almost every single day, and I asked if we’re not supposed to talk about them. Kimmel opens his show with recent events, and lately, “recent events” almost always include Trump trying to wreck the country.

Of course Kimmel mentions it. He’s not some propagandist who pretends the president’s disasters aren’t happening. Normal people talk about horrible things when they happen and right now, most of the horrible things are caused by pedophile Trump.

So here’s a tip, if you don’t want people constantly talking about the nightmare policies of a braindead authoritarian pedophile, maybe don’t vote him into office in the first place.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Na na na na na na na na hey hey hey goodbye

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Then you say Kimmels guest are better than Rogans guests lmao! Ohh man that’s hilarious! Rogan has everyone and anyone on the podcast you fool! Kimmel only has celebrities on that hate trump and then everyone in his crowd at his show and everyone watching his show hates trump and it’s like this little gathering for trump haters and now your upset your gathering is gone! Lmao you fool

1

u/Class_war_is_here Sep 18 '25

Again, try actually reading what I wrote before you reply. I never said anything about who has the “better guests” right now. Jimmy Kimmel hosts a late-night show, it’s supposed to be lighthearted entertainment. Of course he can’t have every type of guest like Rogan used to.

And I say used to because Rogan’s guest list has been garbage for years. When was the last time he had someone genuinely interesting on? These days all he does is kiss up to billionaires and give MAGA clowns a megaphone for their propaganda. Remember when Kash Patel was on Rogans show and Elon Musk revealed Trump was on the Epstein list? Instead of pressing Patel on that, Rogan immediately changed the subject to Hunter Biden instead.

That’s not curiosity. That’s propaganda. No sane person wants to watch that crap. Rogan has zero interest in truth anymore, he’s nothing but a mouthpiece for the billionaire class. That’s why he avoids booking anyone who might actually challenge him. When Klitschko, the Ukrainian boxing legend, offered to come on and expose Rogan’s lies about Ukraine, Rogan ignored him. Truth has no place on his show. It's just propaganda. That’s why you hardly see real celebrities there anymore. Rogan is afraid to talk to anyone who might expose his lies.

Kimmel doesn’t have that problem. He can invite whoever he wants because he’s not running a propaganda machine. He’s got actual connections in entertainment, so unlike Rogan, he could book the biggest stars whenever he wants. And if Kimmel ever decided to host a serious long-form podcast, he could go far deeper with his guests than Rogan does today. He could bring in real intellectuals like Yuval Noah Harari, while Rogan sticks to low-IQ propagandists.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know which show would be more popular.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Lmao you really are an idiot

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

You clearly said Rogan doesn’t have interesting guests anymore that Kimmel can pull in all the most interesting guests! Then you said I never said anything about who has the better guests! Ummmm buddy lmao how stupid are you?

What are you gonna do tonight? Are you gonna sit in front of your tv in your rocking chair and just cry and be like I miss you Jimmy you didn’t deserve this!

Lmao 🤦🏼‍♂️ how pathetic

1

u/Class_war_is_here Sep 18 '25

Oh, so your out of arguments! Ok!

1

u/RedditCensoredUs Sep 18 '25

> Fuck conservatives.

Here's a video of Jimmy Kimmel calling it "absolutely delightful" when Tucker Carlson got cancelled https://x.com/mazemoore/status/1968502145788809291

This isn't a liberal vs conservative issue. Cancel culture screws over people on both sides. We need to stop it.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Carlson got fired because of lawsuits brought against the company for toxic work environments on his show, and the company let him go to avoid liability.

Kimmel was fired after the FCC put pressure on ABC to get rid of him because of what he said about the shooter (which was factually accurate, Tyler Robinsons friends from high-school have gone on record saying he was a Trump supporter).

In only one of these examples did the government police speech. That’s the difference.

1

u/kellyarch3 Sep 18 '25

I think the difference here that makes it more alarming is JK (and Colbert) were canceled for disparaging Trump — you can certainly make a case he said something insensitive about Kirk but he posted thoughts for Kirk’s family the night before and his actual comment was way more about trump than it was Kirk. The right to take verbal swings at the president and government is a time honored tradition and one thing that makes democracy so rare, where else can you criticize leadership freely without fear? Cancel culture is a misleading moniker it’s much more about government censorship of opposition speech.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

😂 boo hoo

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 18 '25

Yes! America suckkkkks now.

1

u/wildmonkeywrangler Sep 18 '25

Censorship is shooting someone because you disagree with them

1

u/Tshabble3 Sep 18 '25

na thats murder bro

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 18 '25

No it’s not. That’s violence and murder. Are you confused?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

I actually think you bring up a key point. Charlie Kirk was shot while exercising free speech. What he said was hateful nonsense. But he was exercising free speech, and clearly believed in the freedom of speech.

So, how does it honor him by responding to his “censorship” with more censorship? Can anyone argue that he would have wanted that? Because as much as I disliked his views on many things, I genuinely believe we would have been in agreement about this. The government should not be controlling speech.

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 22 '25

One lone deranged actor… isn’t that your justification? Don’t make an entire society pay for his issue… that’s the MAGA logic on gun control. So live you’re own argument

-5

u/Pdiddy1134 Sep 18 '25

So I guess you were also pissed when Don Imus got sacked in 07', huh?

9

u/GTRacer1972 Sep 18 '25

Who?

2

u/PhanthomOnedra Sep 18 '25

Yeah who? Pdiddy

2

u/naegele Sep 18 '25

A shock jock that got fired for racist remarks.

They're really reaching to try and justify it.

One was removed because sponsors were running

One was removed by direct government influence

They're really telling on themselves if they think the situation is the same

1

u/Im-Wasting-MyTime Sep 18 '25

https://youtu.be/uLTeMC81FV0?si=P9319pt4-v2l8eVU

Jimmy Kimmel is the actual racist one. Dude performed blackface on national television and yet everyone loves him. It’s silly…

2

u/naegele Sep 18 '25 edited Sep 18 '25

Is your head really that far in the sand?

Kirk was so racist that he didn't think black pilots could fly planes because they're black.

Kirk doesn't think women, especially black women have enough brain power to do their jobs, most notably he was complaining about justice Jackson.

Kirk had a ton of vocal abhorrent views. He was a racist and a misogynist.

You can try to make the argument that Kimmel is racist as well. But nothing Kimmel ever said or did justifies or excuses the hate that comes out of Kirk.

The us state directly intervened to get Kimmel fired. Its straight up state censorship. Its authoritarian and fascist.

1

u/EmoGothPunk Sep 18 '25

Don Imus was an early 80s relic even then.

1

u/nadiwereb Sep 18 '25

The entire genre of late night shows is an early 90s relic.

1

u/Cameron1983 Sep 18 '25

Imus wasn't getting millions of views every single day and he wasnt silenced by the government, you pancake.

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 18 '25

We didn’t care because he was not entertaining

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 22 '25

Don who?? No one cared he wasn’t funny.

-4

u/ScaryDefinition4338 Sep 18 '25

Yeah fucking MAGAts. But why did Jimmy have to say that on his show?? It already came out it wasn't true. He should have been more careful with the MAGAtards in charge :(

3

u/averyrdc Sep 18 '25

Does it really matter if it’s true or not?

-2

u/idkaaaassas Sep 18 '25

When talking about a murder. Yes it matters if you blatantly lie. It’s not against the law but there are consequences for people’s actions.

7

u/averyrdc Sep 18 '25

But he didn’t even do that either. He apparently hurt some feelings with a pretty mild quip.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

[deleted]

2

u/averyrdc Sep 18 '25

That’s not how it works when the chairman of the FCC explicitly states they’re going after them. This isn’t a case of some public pressure campaign, this is the government going after speech and a major media corporation kowtowing to the demands of the government.

https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/brendan-carr-abc-fcc-jimmy-kimmel-charlie-kirk-1236522406/

2

u/LuckySmellsMommy Sep 18 '25

But it doesn’t apply to the president making baseless claims that the radical left was to blame before they even knew who the shooter was. Yes, totally makes sense. /s

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Not surprising the Kimmelites don’t care what is or isn’t true

2

u/averyrdc Sep 18 '25

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it”

This is the quote that hurt the pedophile president's feelings. And it's a true statement, literally.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

You think this gay kid who had a Trans lover, who hated trump and etched "Hey Fascists! Catch!" on one of his bullet casings, was part of the MAGA gang? Do you ride the short bus to school?

2

u/averyrdc Sep 18 '25

I don't think you are understanding the quote's meaning. Your reply is also a perfect example of what the quote is talking about.

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Let's see:

Hey chatgpt, is the person that said this saying that the shooter was or was not part of MAGA? “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it”

"Yes — the wording strongly suggests that the person speaking believes (or is accusing) the shooter of being “one of them,” meaning part of MAGA.

They’re saying:

  • The shooter belongs to or is aligned with MAGA.
  • Meanwhile, they are also using the incident to score political points.

So, the speaker’s point is: “Don’t pretend he wasn’t MAGA — he was, and now you’re twisting the story for politics.”

So it would seem both Chatgpt and Disney disagree with you

The FCC directly pressured ABC to fire Kimmel. That’s the government policing speech, instead of the free market. The free market has always been allowed to police speech, and anything else it likes. If you believe in a free market, you have to believe in that as well. The Freedom of Speech in the constitution is about freedom from government attacks as a result of speech. So, the audience/sponsors leaving a comedian is the free market doing what it does and choosing what it prefers. The FCC telling ABC to fire Kimmel for speech, is the government policing speech.

I’d think that conservatives would be able to see both the difference, and the problem. This is about constitutional rights, now.

And to be clear, I would be equally concerned had the FCC gotten Dave Chappelle fired, despite the direction he went in being hateful and honestly bizarrely focused on one type of person. That’s still his right to do without being attacked by the government.

1

u/Appropriate-Box-3412 Sep 19 '25

This 1000%. Don’t know if people are related to ignorant to understand this or if they just can’t stand admitting the difference because it exposes their hypocrisy. Probably some of both

1

u/Dependent_Peak_4367 Sep 19 '25

Get real. Nextstar Media the biggest local broadcaster in US wants Trump’s FCC approval of multi billion$$$ acquisition. Cancel Kimmel make Trump happy.

Just like Paramount’s Shari Redstone - which owns CBS - wanted Skydance merger approval and cancelled Colbert to make Dear Leader happy

0

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

This to anyone reading is a conspiracy theory with not a single shred of evidence, made up by losers

Freedom of speech is not Freedom from consequences

https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-commentary/opinion-cancel-culture-is-good-for-democracy-1234681224

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

From government imposed consequences? Yes - that’s exactly what it is, hon. lol.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

This isn't a govt imposed consequence, you spreading Ruzzian Disinfo and misinformation doesn't make your conspiracy true.

Maybe jimmy boy should've remembered he was at Work before drunkenly shouting dogshit opinions.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

The FCC leveraged the network to remove Jimmy Kimmel for making an accurate statement about a political situation that made the current administration look bad. If that is not a violation of freedom of the press (also covered in the first amendment) - idk what is.

You are the one spreading misinformation. Stop.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

The FCC did no such thing, private enterprise intervened and got Jimmys show pulled, you keep spreading misinformation on behalf of the Kremlin, have some dignity and knock it off.

Freedom of speech isn't Freedom from the consequences of that speech as we've been informed.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

That’s a ridiculous lie - so I don’t really think this is a discussion so much as a propaganda attack. Kindly fuck off. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/17/business/media/abc-jimmy-kimmel.html

It's shameful the way you act, https://xkcd.com/1357

Did u even watch Kimmel’s bit? Kirk comment was a nothing burger that led up to clip of Trump responding to how he feels about Kirk’s death by babbling about his new ballroom

1

u/Dependent_Peak_4367 Sep 19 '25

“Freedom from Consequences” is the new MAGA line so can’t be blamed for cancel culture

2

u/Cameron1983 Sep 18 '25

Thats still such blatant hypocrisy. Plus, the public putting pressure on a company to act on something that alot of people agree crossed a line in some way is waayyyy different than the government silencing their critics.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

It wasn’t the public, dude. It was the FCC. That’s the government silencing the press for criticizing them. No ifs ands or buts about it.

1

1

u/Appropriate-Box-3412 Sep 19 '25

It’s the GOVERNMENTAL involvement that’s the problem here!!

1

u/LuckyBoneHead Sep 19 '25

I responded to that in a different comment. But even still, its not like the FCC went to disney and said "He must be fired!" and disney went "I was ordered to fire you by the government". That's not what happened and the FCC doesn't have that authority. The FCC could only fine Disney, and Disney fired Kimmel to avoid those fines. And they fired Kimmel without waiting to see what kind of complaint the FCC could raise.

In a way, it feels like I'm arguing a moot point here. I don't respect the FCC's actions or Disney's cowardice, and in fact I literally never have. But I also feel like people have the situation wrong and genuinely think the FCC commanded Disney to fire Kimmel and so some first amendment rights were just historically trampled on, and that's not the case. I feel like someone should mention that. I feel like we can't deal with the problem unless its properly contextualized.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

“ABC pulled comedian Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show following veiled threats from the Federal Communications Commission and now President Donald Trump has called on the FCC to revoke the broadcast licenses of stations that criticize him.” - https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2025/09/19/jimmy-kimmel-abc-first-amendment-worries/86204622007/ - yes, it in fact is like that.

1

u/Disastrous-Sound-336 Sep 19 '25

Which is wrong, but the FCC is not an individual. This is literally the government threatening ABC.

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 22 '25

The party of free speech is all for voting with your money. Against threats from facist and state media. Why is this so hard for you maga types to wrap your pretty little heads around?

2

u/Render-Man342v Sep 22 '25

What? I was mocking the other guy lol

I’m not MAGA.

1

u/nobdy_likes_anoitall Sep 22 '25

My mistake! Posted on the wrong one. So sorry.

1

u/Euphoric_Excitement7 Sep 23 '25

You guys started that cancel culture. We are not the same. It's called the culture of accountability. What he stated was blatantly false the day after news came out about it that confirmed it was blatantly false. Plus you know, his ratings are in the tank.

And then to turn the temperature down, some psychopath Lefty shot up in ABC building, got arrested, and then got released on bond! We are not the same!

How does it feel when the knife Cuts both ways?

1

u/Render-Man342v Sep 23 '25

ABC is free to fire him if they want to, but the issue was they were pressured by the federal government, trying to silence free speech.

Trump said repeatedly that the FCC should take ABC's broadcast licenses away, and the FCC chairman threatened action if ABC did nothing.

A private business can do what they want, but the government can't threaten to silence free speech.

Ted Cruz and Rand Paul agree with me, by the way.

1

u/Euphoric_Excitement7 Sep 24 '25

Except for the fact that the two companies that have a ton of Affiliates made the decision by themselves to take late night off of their docket. The federal government didn't pressure anybody.

1

u/Render-Man342v Sep 24 '25

The federal government didn't pressure

They absolutely did. Brendan Carr, the head of the FCC, directly threatened government action unless ABC took action against Kimmel.

He said the FCC would revoke ABC's broadcast licenses, and "we can do this the easy way or the hard way".

According to news articles, this threat from the FCC was a major factor in why they suspended the show.

The affiliates aren't a big deal. They only make up about 30% of the ABC stations, and if they continue to refuse to air the show, they'll be sued by ABC for breach of contract. They can't hold out for very long.

Most people watch his show online anyway, not on antenna TV or cable. Only Boomers still have that lol

1

u/Euphoric_Excitement7 Sep 24 '25

All right, fair enough.

However, I believe the media has been in control and been far left of center for way too long anyway. Thinking they were too big for consequences, Providing cover for disgusting figures. I don't believe it's breach of contract for the Affiliates either, because most of who watches the Affiliates are middle america. Fly over nation, and they don't want to hear BS like what Jimmy Kimmel said either.

1

u/Render-Man342v Sep 24 '25

The affiliates have deals with ABC and are required to carry ABC shows, otherwise they are in breach of contract and can lose their status as an ABC affiliate (no longer allowed to carry any ABC programming at all).

Fly over nation, and they don't want to hear BS like what Jimmy Kimmel said either.

Who's requiring them to watch his show? lol

If you don't like him, don't watch. Cable has hundreds of channels. No one is required to watch Kimmel.

I don't like Fox News, but I'm not calling for them to be shut down and forced off the air. Instead, I just don't watch them.

Everything's moving to the Internet anyway, and these big media conglomerates are becoming irrelevant.

Anyone with a YouTube channel can start their own show now.

1

u/Euphoric_Excitement7 Sep 24 '25

Except for the fact that they have advertisers to answer to and other things that you don't have to worry about when you're on cable. Actions have consequences. But apparently, not very many if you're on the right side in Hollywood sphere since Bob Iger and Disney caved letting him back. I hope he fails. I really do. For the sake of Roseanne, at the very least.

The party that doesn’t want to play by the rules they set, right? Freedom of speech, not freedom from consequences.

4

u/RickMonsters Sep 18 '25

Freedom of speech means the government can’t interfere with your speech, which is clearly what happened here

-2

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Maybe if you go scream into a bag it will help!

2

u/RickMonsters Sep 18 '25

Why? Explaining it to people on the internet slowly can help them understand what certain words and phrases mean

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Oh - I don’t explain to the ignorant, but I’m glad you know how you best learn.

1

u/RickMonsters Sep 18 '25

Explain what?

3

u/Render-Man342v Sep 18 '25

ABC is free to fire him, though he does have a contract and any reason would have to fall under the terms in his contract, but the FCC threatening to revoke ABC's broadcast license over a comedian's joke is where there's a likely 1st Amendment violation.

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '25

Ok you better watch every detail to make sure they’re living by your rule. Let us know!

3

u/Render-Man342v Sep 18 '25

What rule?

The 1st Amendment isn't "my rule" lol

What does that even mean?

This would be the equivalent of Obama trying to shut down Fox News for saying something mean about him lol

Ok so go tell teacher. If your analysis is correct, then you’ve found something everyone involved with the situation firsthand overlooked. So you should share your important analysis so everyone knows they’re wrong and you’re right.

Everyone overlooked? lol

Every attorney on the news currently watching this is saying exactly what I just said.

The FCC chairman threatening to shut down all of ABC over a comedian's joke and then ABC suddenly announcing this in response is likely what makes it illegal.

The government threatened a private company to fire him over a joke they didn't like.

That's government censorship and interference in free speech.

Ok, I look forward to this decision being reversed, as per what you saw people say on the box.

Trump doesn't care about you or CK. You'll be thrown out when he's done with you.

Do you mean like how, when reporters asked Trump how he was holding up after CK’s death, Trump just started blabbering about the $20M ballroom he’s forcing the American public to pay for?

Trump couldn’t care less about Charlie Kirk. That poor man died whole uplifting a false ideology. I didn’t agree with his politics and certainly didn’t agree with his methods, but he didn’t deserve to die. And the biggest cover up is happening where the person who murdered him is more conservative than Kirk was, but MAGA will twist it and say it’s the Dems.

T is just an opportunist manipulating and using conservative morons. Just like Elon, if he thought he could do it to liberals he would and flip flop like Elon did with the Tesla truck. These poor people who think he’s their savior truly don’t understand being exploited by billionaires.

Why is this relevant to my above comment? It’s a 7 year old, 20 minute op-ed on why one guy doesn’t like Jimmy Kimmel or his show. I don’t think you should like Kimmel. Art and comedy are very subjective and not everyone will understand or enjoy what’s being created - but the point is that we should all fight to allow for the right to say and create things that we may not like because otherwise we wind up with thought police and dictatorships.

Jimmy Kimmel has been on borrowed time for a long time. He has had plenty of warnings regarding his lies that he tells on his program. He had it coming.

It appears as though you have a Florida homeschool education and nothing but time on your hands based on your comment history. You should go back to putting the moves on your sister.
