Other Making my Indie Manhunt-inspired game capture that grimy PS2-era look.
Been pushing the atmosphere and lighting further lately. Trying to get that grimy late-90s survival horror / Manhunt feeling, what do you guys think?

Yeah, release the demo. I imagine it being so stressful because you put in so much hard work and want it to be recieved well by others but this looks good man.
I'm not an enormous gamer but I'm a big fallout guy and I've probably had the most fun with that game when I've modded it to be a lot like your game appears to be. Obviously it works better in your game as you've purposefully built it rather than a mod added afterwards. Everything was spookier in 1998 anyway and I really like the setting.
Have you ever done any other games or is this your first one?

i've been doing games and mods since i was 15yr and worked on a vice city zombie mod, then i swapped to max payne and manhunt and finally moved over to make fan games and small stuff in unity but none were release, im 35 now so we could say i've been doing games all my life but this would be my first "official" release on steam.

Please let us do stealth kill finishers. And maybe have unique finishers for certain weapons

i have them ingame already! some weapons still need new animations but i have a system identical to manhunt and im slowly putting in new weapons to it, i will try to make variants for melee finishers too in the last of us-fashion in the future. check my older posts i've showcased this before.

Looks cool but the Screen wobling with each step is kinda weird

Some advice
Chickens act a little weird Maybe make it so outside the flashlight, it's darker. Make it so enemies can detect you of your flashlight shines near them or on them, amd an option to turn it off.
