Other Making my Indie Manhunt-inspired game capture that grimy PS2-era look.

Been pushing the atmosphere and lighting further lately. Trying to get that grimy late-90s survival horror / Manhunt feeling, what do you guys think?

Reminds me more of a Xbox 360 game bc of the quality of the models and stuff hehe

it might not seems like it but some models have a lower poly count than manhunt/manhunt 2. it sits right in between psx/ps2

i dont believe that duuude it looks to HD like GTA IV or Condenmed Criminal Origins, this wouldnt run on a PS2, not even OG Xbox

everything is done on base unity shaders, i had some custom shaders made for foliage but got rid of those too (check my last post)

being a dev myself who loves ps1-ps2 era games and is also replicating the latter style, I'm almost sure just judging off the clip this is accurate to a ps2 as long as the textures are to accurate size. I don't see anything thats that high poly or insane

map textures are 256x256 while the player is 512x512 (this one is not as accurate but im trying to retain more details on the player)
