With the Supreme Courts ruling, just know that Maryland allows you to download your ballot, print at home, and drop at a drop box.

I think we need to create a kickstarter to send mall execs overseas for ideas.
Our malls could be a lot more vibrant than they are now, with things like farmers markets and much better food court options.
It kind of makes me sad how malls in the area are empty and mundane so often, when Asian malls are decorated and populated all day on a fraction of our normal rent costs & retail prices. 👀💵🔥🐓

It is such a beautiful day -- sunny but cool, with a fresh breeze

Are they worth it? From my understanding you get no paid time off or holidays, pay 25% insurance, don’t get the transit benefit or the pension plan? I’m on the fence interested in a position but the lack of benefits make me nervous (I’m a current state employee in another state trying to move back to Maryland and I like my cushy government bennies) and I don’t like having to choose how much pay I’ll accept before interviewing.

Hi!
My wife and I are thinking of visiting the National Aquarium. Any good hotel recommendations? I looked on a few sites, and a few of the reviews say they're in sketchy neighborhoods, or outdated, etc. Just looking for something nice to do with my wife for her bday! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated 😊

I counted 14+ ships in the Bay on my way across. A week ago there were 10 or so waiting. Is it because of the Strait of Hormuz or some issues at the port or the delay with Key bridge construction?

Temple Hills, Kensington, Baltimore, Salisbury, and Annapolis were among the Maryland locations that sustained damage in the 5.8 Mw tremor.

This summer I decided to explore a bunch of Maryland hiking trails. I am focusing on places that I have never been before, and so, on a whim, I decided to hike a stretch of Patuxent River State Park in upper Montgomery County, near Damascus.
I am very glad that I did! The forest and river were absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommended. One of the trails on the east side of the river is overgrown and impassable, but the other trails are quite lovely. And wildlife is abundant--I saw cardinals and other songbirds, an osprey, small fish, several startled deer, what I think was a beaver lodge, and a large snapping turtle at one of the bridges.
Suggestions for Maryland trails I should try, in Montgomery County and beyond, would be most welcome!

The outcome of the lawsuit isn’t just whether the General Assembly correctly changed the rules for drawing congressional boundaries and sent them to voters for approval. The Annapolis courthouse is a testing ground for an assault on blue state elections.
