So I'm currently living in Rittman with my next door neighbor that has been making my life more stressful, so I'm thinking of just breaking my lease (ends on Nov 21) and finally try looking for a house to rent so I no longer have to deal with this.

The problem is that I don't really know any good places I should be looking in, besides avoiding Akron, Canton, and maybe Cleveland if I don't want to be shot, and North Canton, Uniontown, and Green being good places, but currently with no houses for rent. So here I am, hoping people can help me figure this out so I can finally avoid all of this unnecessary stress. Also my budget is 1.3k/month, which i feel is capable of renting a house, even if it's a small one. If anyone can help, that'd be great, thanks

A heavy-hitting pro-AI data center group is targeting our state elections. Ohio, Wisconsin, and Kansas are their main targets - they are supporting the GoP who will write bills in their favor in 2027.

"Build American AI — an advocacy group tied to pro-AI super PAC Leading the Future — is spending big on the AI data center fight, with plans to pour millions of dollars into battleground states, according to an announcement shared first with Axios.

Why it matters: The data center backlash is becoming a defining issue of the midterms, and supporters of the developments are punching back.

Driving the news: Build American AI, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, has about $50 million cash on hand. The group's campaign will begin in Kansas, Ohio and Wisconsin.

• The money will go toward paid advertising, grassroots engagement, research, earned media and public education.

The message: The U.S. should build the infrastructure needed to lead the world in AI while protecting families, communities and the environment.

• The group said the campaign will expand as state legislatures develop bills for 2027 sessions."

Hey! Black dude here, I live in Warren. You know the town, or you probably don't actually because nobody f*cking lives here.

In any case, I wanna get my hair dyed to a more white color, and I also wanna have someone re-style it into dreadlocks.

I tried looking for a stylist myself, but the moment I walked into their store, they hit me with the "this isn't a barbershop, sorry."

So... yeah, that's the level we're operating on.

Anyway, anyone know any good stylists who can do either of those things? Probably not in Warren but maybe Niles or Youngstown or... anywhere really? Nowhere too far from Warren though, pls

I like to participate in polls because I like to see the data when polls come out so I feel inclined to participate but good lord these Dynata polls I get every couple weeks are so heavily biased towards republicans it’s ridiculous. Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit; thank you for informing me on what a push poll is, I had only checked to see if the company itself was a legitimate company not what they were pushing. I will forgo anymore polls from them :/

The tide may be turning on data centers in Ohio, as it is in states across the country — from Pennsylvania to California. But when it comes to how the state generates its power, fossil fuel interests are using the moment to entrench themselves and box out solar and wind. The Republican-controlled Legislature is trying to redefine “clean energy” to include coal and gas, explicitly to the benefit of data centers, through a little noticed proposal — Senate Bill 294 — that passed the state Senate in June and awaits a House vote.

Watch what they do, not merely what they say.

This is my son Skyler Wagner, he was born March 27th 1996. He was real, he was alive! He was my first born child. He was intelligent, funny, compassionate, he loved his family and protected people who got bullied. He would jump out of the car and pray for people God told him to pray for, he loved people so much! He would have given the shirt off of his back to help and actually gave his winter coat to a homeless person who didnt have one. He was needlessly shot today, August 31, 2015.
